It's a small place outside of sommerville but the food is really good and it's worth the drive. Get there early because they may run out of pork steak but overall it was a fantastic eating experience. I truly believe in supporting small businesses.

The Hospitality and Food quality here is crazy good, some of the best fried chicken and fried catfish I’ve ever had, I was very surprised on how good it was considering it was also a convenience store but don’t let that fool you, give it a try and you will be glad you did.

I don't come in here often but I do drive by a lot while I'm out delivering and I always see a variety of nice folks there. The few times i did stop by they were always very nice and the place had a positive atmosphere. The food is real good home cooking always warm and delicious. Super affordable as well

So, I went in at 2:30pm and they said the shut down the fryers down on a Friday Afternoon ...What?...really who does this with 2 1/2 hours let to be open....

So when I first heard of this place, it was the place where they cook red chicken. The chicken is red, crunchy and good. Eat it while it is hot. If you find yourself in Somerville TN on highway 76 stop by the Chicken Coop and try the chicken. You have to go early because the food sells out fast.

Parks are a wonderful family and great friends to everyone and if you want real food / fresh food you will find it at the Chicken Coop / hot home cooked lunches during the week / homemade sandwiches anytime cut fresh and made to order/ farm to table vegetables. I Love it and I love the owners.
