We were lucky enough to be there when Santa came! The food and ice cream were delicious and we enjoyed shopping all the local handcrafted items. The Christmas village and ambiance are welcoming with a few surprises throughout the property. We will be back, def worth a day trip.
Today we ate the Friday Catfish at Chestnut Oaks (this is our third time )and I have to say it was great!! (again)Everything we ordered catfish ,coleslaw, and the french fries and hush puppies even the tea , everything about it was perfect! It’s very close to home, the restaurant is always very clean and the staff are always so friendly. We hope to go again soon.
The food, atmosphere and people here are amazing. My pup and I are traveling so I like to take her everywhere with me, she was welcomed with tons of love and we were able to eat outside and inside on multiple occasions. The food is simple but very delicious and we loved looking at local goods around the store while we waited for our food.
