I walked up to get in line to order and within a minute an employee walked out from the back area and asked to nobody in particular "Did they come and fix it?" I don't know what she was talking about but the way she presented herself along with the fact that there were only three pieces of chicken in the staging pan on the serving line made me start chuckling. Add decided I would pass on Chester's for this day. After touring the rest of the store not seeing anything appetizing and realizing there weren't any options until Nashville I came back and got in line. The employee from before was placing a full pan of chicken on the line and I thought I hit the jackpot. When I placed my order and asked for okra as a side I said I hope it's fresh. The lady looked at me for a second and then put some in the box. When I got down the road a ways I started eating and I realized the chicken wasn't that fresh and the breading on the okra was very thick and hard to chew.On the next day of my road trip the waste started a riot and I had to quickly find a public convenience. I should've listened to my first intuition and not eaten here. Thanks, Chester.

Chicken tenders were dry. Chicken breasts were also dry and tough. Thighs were good. Gravy tasted watered down or lacking flavor or salt. The sauce didn't help. None of the pieces looked fresh. 3pm Thursday.

This goes for the Subway next to it but management needs to do an overhaul with the employees. All of them would rather stand and chat with each other and move as slow as possible helping customers. The Chesters side was out of nearly everything, using bare hands to grab scoop handles then letting the handles fall into the food. Absolutely disgusting and slow service
