We moved to Sweetwater, TN about 18 months ago. Steamers is a tiny place, but boy they are run well, and make GREAT sandwiches. I believe it’s owned by a Mother/Daughter? I could be wrong. My favorite so far is the BLT!! Best BLT I’ve ever had hands down! My husband has had their chicken salad and said it’s GREAT!!

Stopped in at Steamers Subs for the first time. Highly recommended by a friend who told me she goes there several times a week. Told me Steamers makes great sandwiches. So I had to check it out for myself while driving through Sweetwater. Yes! A great sandwich shop located downtown. A cubbyhole size restaurant but don't let the small size fool you. I ordered a delicious large sub which was so filled with ingredients I decided to eat the other half for dinner that evening. Wheelchair accessible with parking on the street in front and around the block corners. My lady friend and I were warmly greeted by both employees when we walked in. The cook who took our orders also brought our sandwiches to our table for us. Atmosphere was cozy and friendly. Good selection of subs to choose from and made to order custom. Great service, value and atmosphere which is probably fair to say rivals all the popular franchise sandwich restaurants. I recommend.

Went into sub shop to order a sandwich. Asked if there was a restroom. No public restroom. They have a restroom but will not let you use even if you a patron. Could understand if you are jut using the restroom and not ordering food. Lady at register just continued to repeat no public restroom. Very rude and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!! Pretty sure that a food establishment is required to provide a restroom by law if serving food!

Me and my aunt when had the best lunch in a while. I got Reuben it was great. The potato salad was good. I would recommend anyone to come here for lunch.

I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sandwich. SO good! With a side of potato salad. It was a perfect pick me up.

This is easily a Knoxville staple if you’re looking for a good, hot sub or sandwich. My Italian was very good and their cookies are a great way to end a meal. Never regret coming here!

Never got to try the food, a 12.99 sub with $3 chips somehow rang up to $23 just for adding mayonnaise, oil, and vinegar and paying with a card. The person was super polite and just issued a refund because their new system is charging way too much for things, super good service, not super good prices, unknown on food.
