Hunter's Bakery and Cafe Reviews
The chicken salad was dry and had no grapes, celery, pecans or nothing in it. My friends weren't impressed with their food either. Our server lost my friend's debit card and acted like he could care less. Instead of actually looking for it, he kept telling us that she lost it. It never made its way back to our table. Definitely not going back there.
Y'all, they got the BEST cow patties (or no bake cookies) whatever you wanna call em! And they are friggin HUGE! My friday treat for surviving the week 😁
Food was delicious! So friendly and the service was excellent. So nice to see small town businesses thriving!

Hunter's Bakery and Cafe is a charming establishment known for its reasonable prices and urban feel. The cafe offers a variety of meals for kids and has plenty of parking. The menu features fish tacos, steak wraps, and cheese curds, all freshly prepared. The service is friendly, and the staff is happy to accommodate special requests, such as coffee to go. The cafe is wheelchair accessible and has high ceilings, adding to its charm. The pastries, including the giant oatmeal raisin cookie, are a must-try.
The restaurant has many good dishes, and the French onion soup is a local favorite, with its savory broth, croutons, and melted cheese. The baked goods, especially the carrot cake and the huge peanut butter cookies, are also highly recommended. Customers have enjoyed the Reuben sandwich with turkey, the Philly wrap, and the Black and Blue Burger, all of which are simple yet delicious. The restaurant offers daily specials and affordable prices, making it a great foodie stop for both locals and out-of-towners.
The atmosphere is cozy and low-key, with a homecooked vibe. The food is nice and simple, and the bakery desserts are gourmet. The fried pickles and onion rings are praised, and the Neiman Marcus and peanut butter cookies are customer favorites. The staff is friendly, and the coffee is great. While the service can be slow at times, the overall experience is lovely.
