A friend of mine in Sweetwater has been recommending I go to Kokita. I made it there today. Great food, fast service, amazing server and loved the atmosphere. Next time I go, I will be treating her since she recommended Kokita. Great experience there and I highly recommend.

Our food was excellent. The server very sweet and spread thin. Egg drop soup great. Pork Egg roll hot and delicious. Mongolian beef served sweet by request was also GREAT.

The service is very quick to get drinks and appetizers, and the food is amazing whether it is sushi or shrimp, chicken and steak Hibachi. Reviews call the sushi some of the best, very fresh, and the portions often twice what is normally expected for the price. Some diners note the host wears a chain and collar and is asked what to drink before sitting. The restaurant has closed 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, which some wish to extend to 10:00 pm. Despite a change in menu, the sushi remains great.
