Sweetwater is a beautiful little town with urban feel with reasonable prices that attract ALOT of tourist. Hunters bakery & cafe is a great place to have lunch. Fish tacos my favorite.Parking: PLENTY of parking.Kid-friendliness: Variety of favorite meals for kidslWheelchair accessibility: Doors and aisle wide enough for a wheelchair to pass thru

Worst Reuben sandwich I've ever had, and the place needs a deep cleaning.

First the good. Beautiful little place in a quaint, charming area. Redesigned OLD building, with beautiful hunt / fox/ equestrian art and decor. A bit stuffy on a hot day, but it was crowded for a time. Went at around 2pm, to avoid the lunch rush. Waiter was very nice, and quick to bring ice teas. We ordered Rueben sandwiches with fries, nothing fancy. Added a small salad , fresh, but not spectacular. No biggie. We finished our salads and waited for our sandwiches. and waited, and waited and waited. At about an hour of waiting the waiter came over and apologized refilling our drinks. We thought "okay it must be amazing so it's taking awhile" After an hour and twenty minutes of waiting, we finally were brought our sandwiches and fries. Fries were good, I will say. The sandwiches...the old commercial "where's the beef?" springs to mind. They had virtually no corned beef, and just a touch of cheese. It felt as though they had forgotten our order and just threw together whatever was fast. It was dry, and underwhelming. We ate because after over and hour wait, we were starving. We went to the front, and saw what appeared to be gorgeous desserts. We thought "maybe these are good?" We took home some sort of brownie, and a cookie. Well wrong again. All show and no go. Large size, large price very little flavor on either. We will probably never return. It's a shame b/c we try very hard to support small businesses rather than chains. We really wanted to like it. But it was just beyond the pale, wait time and extremely mediocre (except the fries ) food. Actually less than mediocre.

Had a great lunch and loaded up on an assortment of bakery items. We keep coming back every time we're in town.

Big disappointment. Hamburger, bun, paddy, one very small slice of tomato, 2 pieces of lettuce the size of a finger. The bill was large though. The grilled chicken?, a chunk of over cooked dried out bird. All in all, a place to avoid.

Such sweet ladies working. We stopped in and asked if they could make us coffee to go and they happily did. This is a gorgeous historic building with high ceilings and charm. We had to grab a giant oatmeal raisin cookie as well, delicious! We will plan to come back again soon. Truly a darling establishment!

We all loved the cinnamon rolls--lots of cinnamon and slightly under-baked in the middle.
