The Lazy Beagle Grill & Pub

We wanted to like this restaurant, but the service was awful. The menu is interesting. The decor is cool. The staff are slow and lazy. We were seated and ignored for 15 minutes even though our server checked on nearby tables. When we asked if she was our server she rudely proclaimed that she hadn't seen us. Considering she had previously bumped into me I find her response laughable. Other staff members were equally bad, standing in the hallway and socializing. This restaurant isn't worth the trouble. I would recommend looking at other options.

We absolutely LOVE eating here everything is always perfect! We had a large party (16 people) for a graduation dinner and then after the graduation ceremony. We were seated on the rooftop and it was absolutely amazing! The service was great and the food was excellent! Cindy Pierce is the absolute best she goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect!!!!! We LOVE Cindy!!!!!

Had the catfish recommended by Blake. The only thing better than the excellent fish was Blake’s awesome service!

We had Ashley as our server she was so polite and sweet, she made the experience wonderful!

First time for my wife and I today. The Food and Service was Awesome!! 5 Stars for this place!! I Highly Recommend.

First time at the lazy beagle. Steaks needed more flavor but over all great place. Steak cooked just right. Friendly environment shrimp and grits was the best I have ever had. We will be back!!! I just can not believe how friendly everyone was. Loved the fried green tomatoes also.

Loved the atmosphere the decor was nice, like a walk through the past. Our meal was amazing,service was great and pricing very reasonable. The Lazy Beagle is our new favorite place.

I think my wife cheated on me with a sandwich, but honestly i think i would too. when the burger hit my mouth, i was filled with overwhelming euphoria and ecstasy, that i know deep in my soul i will never experience in 1000 life times. I looked at my wife, then back at my burger, and realized i never knew true love until that moment. i knew after this very moment i couldn't sleep in the same bed as her anymore. 10/10 the all american burger taught me how to love again

The moment i bit into this sandwhich my life was changed. The flavor shocked my taste buds and immediately flooded a fantasy of marrying this sand which, having kids, buying our first home. It was beautiful, and it didn't end too soon either, as the portion was very big. 100/10 tears of joy stream down my face as i write this review.

Excellent food and service. The catfish dinner is a particularly good selection - taste and value!

Parking: Downtown street parking is limited, but there's a large free city lot across the street, with a convenient pedestrian crossing a few feet away.

Great first time visit we got in and seated upstairs quickly our server Allison was great and accommodating fried green tomatoes boneless chicken and honey hot cheese bites were delish….cobb salad subbing mahi mahi was plentiful and Beagle salad was as equally appealing homemade ranch dressing and Wildcat Pasta very tasty! We will be back!

Great food, great prices and great service. We all had a different dish and everyone was highly satisfied!
