The bakery is Da Bomb. I usually grab a loaf of some sort of bread a week. The sweets are very good as well. A must visit if you are in Tellico Plains!

My wife and I stumbled onto this place while driving up to Dollywood. I ordered the BLT. To my pleasant surprise, it was an explosion of flavor. The sandwich was incredible, and the coffee was excellent. So was the customer service. If you’re ever in Tellico Plains, TN, don’t miss Tellico Grains Bakery. I might add, I got a cherry turnover to go and it was equally amazing.

Bought a whole pecan pie for a Thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious! Everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely buy it again.
It breaks my heart to leave this review but after years of coming here on our annual trip to the smokies finally had a bad experience here. We drove across the Cherohala to get the delicious pizza with all the benton meats, a beer, and stock up on bakery goods for the trip home. When we walked in there was one couple at the cashier ordering so I got in line behind them. After we arrived a few other people rolled in and the other employee started helping everyone that had been lining up(noticing that she went went roght past us). I waited patiently as I knew my turn was coming when that couple finished I stepped forward and the cashier told me to wait to check out the people that were in the line. I jokingly asked the other employee had I done something wrong and that's why she was ignoring me. Her response, " the line wraps around there (and pointed)" welp, when I walked in there was no line... also there was no signage saying a line forms there... and it shows that she knew I was standing there waiting and she purposely ignored me. We always stop in here for the tasty food and to support the owner as they are from Michigan our home state. But this was a complete miss! If you prefer to serve only locals or locals first please put up signage stating that so I can at least expect to be completely ignored. When you are caught ignoring us at least an apology would have been appreciated. We left immediately without buying anything and went somewhere else for lunch. *** Warning if not a local expect to be ignored and poor service***

They had so much to choose from. I was actually glad for the long line, so I had time to make up my mind.

I ordered my sandwich at 10:46am. She said they would make it at 11. I arrived at 11:01 and paid for my sandwich. I then saw 4 people get their sandwiches helped front of me while I waited. I asked when would my sandwich be done? She turned around and handed it to me . It has been sitting on the counter while I waited. That was at 11:17. No apology, no "have a nice day. " I felt that customer service was lacking.
Parking: Calling ahead to avoid delay may work. It didn't work that time, but I'm sure it could in the future.

Love Tellico Grains. Everything we've eaten here is wonderful. We bake our own bread at home. Their bread is made just as good as ours and way better and healthier than 90% of what you get elsewhere. The pizza is exquisite. You will not be disappointed. Only wish they stayed open later. We'd go the 45 min drive more ostrich.

I don't know what has happened to this place. The prices are outrageous and the food is something less than mediocre. Sandwiches are totally cold and the bread is something I can't even describe. It is a nice little place, but the quality of the food has declined incredibly.
Homemade bread is the featured item. Sandwiches are very good. Quaint country atmosphere. Friendly people behind the counter. Great place to stop before or after driving the mountain roads nearby. Also several baked goods for dessert. Recommended!
