Cades Cove Cellars is a welcoming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, featuring a selection of wine-related items and cheese. The staff is friendly and helpful, allowing customers to sample their wines, including sweet Muscadine varieties. The white Muscadine is described as bold and robust with a subtle sweet tone, while the red is sweet with a slightly muted Muscadine flavor. Visitors can enjoy trying three wines for free, and sharing is encouraged, making it a great place for wine enthusiasts. The winery offers a variety of wines, such as Sweet White Muscadine, Sweet Red Muscadine, Harvest Moon, Ursa Major (Blueberry), and Rustic Cabin Red, with some wines like Ursa Major having a hint of fizz and a delightful blueberry flavor. The prices for glasses can be high, but bottles are available for better value. Many visitors find this spot to be a hidden gem on the back roads of Tennessee, and some wish they had purchased bottles to take home. The Cab is especially praised for being smooth, with subtle fruitiness, making it a standout. Overall, Cades Cove Cellars provides a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for wine tasting and relaxing.
