We stopped here for dinner while visiting from out of town. They had a sign on the door stating they were short staffed but we didn’t mind because they bbq smelled delicious. Good thing we decided to stay and eat because this was the best bbq I’ve ever had. We didn’t have to wait too long and the waitress we had was very sweet. If we are ever back in town we will definitely be stopping in again.

Waited 20 minutes to be seated, host finally showed up, only to tell us she will be back in a little bit to seat us. Restaurant was only half full, not sure why she couldn't seat us then. We just left the restaurant.

My husband had the ribs with slaw and fries. I had the smoked chicken, slaw, and fries. The restaurant is a little rough around the edges, but the waitstaff was very friendly and hard-working. The meats were great, and I'm not a huge smoked meat person. They brought 3 different bbq sauces to the table and these were delicious.The fries were good, too, but I saw the onion rings and wish I would have ordered those. The coleslaw was very bland.

I really wanted to like this…. They were short staffed but we were not in a hurry so we were fine with it. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely awful. Got pulled pork. It tasted like it had been frozen for a long time and then microwaved. The staff was fantastic and I felt bad for them. I couldn’t eat my food but didn’t have the heart to say anything. The staff that was there was really trying. Unless they change something, I would find somewhere else to go.

Ribs were dry as a bone, couldn't eat them. Nibbled on the fat ends. They offered to get me a new plate but I politely declined. As we left, they insisted on a free carry-out. They were dry as a bone, threw them in the dumpster. Wish I could have found a dog to give them too. Wife's burger tasted like it had extenders added. Can't recommend this place.

We were staying very close to JimBob’s and we picked it on a whim, but thought the food was great (corn nuggets! Burnt ends! NYStrip!), the apple pie sauce was delightful, our hostess and waitress were charming, and the price was extremely reasonable. I would absolutely go back and try the fried fish and some of the pork bbq as well.

My husband picked up and brought home. Burnt ends were dry. Green beans were awful. Nothing provided to eat with baked potato. No butter, salt, nothing. Very disappointed.

Tourist Trap to be avoided.. we fell in hoping for some good BBQ, which turned out to be mid and expensive. Service was extremely slow due to low staffing (note on the door about this).. which based on other reviews has been a long term problem - however the staff were very nice and friendly. Burnt ends were dry and hard couldn't choke em down without drowning in sauce; Burgers were terrible just tastless dry frozen grocery store patties. Brisket sandwich didn't deliver. The sides were o.k. - Mac and cheese was decent as well the onion rings. Place was unkept and un cared for, path to , & bathrooms kinda grimy. Overall definitely not worth what they charged, would not recommend.

Large portions. Tender ribs. Okra and onion rings are 5 🌟's. Really the best ribs we've found this side of the Mississippi (we lived in Texas for 30 years).
BBQ isn't inexpensive, but these folks provide good flavor and generous portions.
