Great Buffet, their BBQ Ribs are out of this world, so tender it falls out of the bone itself. Their fried chicken was delicious, everything in the buffet bar was great ??. Friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

Long review ahead. The hostess was sitting in the porch smoking when we entered this entirely empty restaurant. She never asked us if we wanted anything to drink so water it was. The food was atrocious. The quesadilla wrappers were hard. The fajita meat and veggies were mediocre. When i go to a Mexican buffet im expecting Mexican. There was only one type of salsa, ive been to others that have had many. They had bbq ribs(which were good), fried chicken, and mashed potatoes. This was at least a quarter of what was on the buffet. The other quarter was cereal!?!? And bananas.Weve been driving by this place hoping itd be open. Now im disappointed it was and went. 15$ per person with no soft drink?! Not worth it. Avoid it. Just drive to maryville and get you taco bell, even though we all know taco bell will mess up your orderP.s they dont have ac
My boys and I ate at this so called Mexican restaurant last year, it was terrible then but I always give a place a second chance thinking there is no way a place that bad was still open. We went again today and wasted my money it was just as bad as last time. The drinks fresh watermelon and oranges was good. The fried chicken wasnt half bad but pretty sure it was bought already prepared and served on the buffet.I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that the cheese they served was nacho cheese sauce. There is no menu buffet only. I usually not that hard on a place but it was so bad my 10 year old said he felt bad for them thinking what they served was any good.
When you walk in, you will be greeted by a lady with a Wendy's shirt and yellow sweatpants. You will then glance around and see cereal dispensers and bananas. The food is anything BUT Mexican food. Broccoli and steak. Buffalo chicken. Mashed potatoes and green beans. Refried beans that are purple. You will also have a dresser with a vanity mirror to look at yourself while you eat.
Upon arrival there was no one else in the parking lot and the hostess (who was also the server) was sitting next to the front porch smoking a cigarette. We go in despite our gut feeling telling us otherwise and enter into a completely empty restaurant during what should be a busy lunch time. The server/hostess took our drink order and I went to scope out the "buffet". It was the worst looking buffet I have ever seen. It consisted of one tray of dried beef, fried chicken, corn dogs, yellow nacho cheese sauce, and the basic taco toppings. We gave the lady cash for the soda and walked out, refusing to even attempt to eat there. If you are in Townsend, PLEASE go somewhere else. So many better options, as tempting as a Mexican "buffet" may sound.
Sad to say I think this is the most disturbing restaurant experience I have ever had... I would not recommend that you eat here unless you want to be greeted with the following. No AC. Be prepared to have a mini heat stroke while having dinner. The food is not Mexican style. Which is why we chose to eat there. And it is not good. They dont have labled what the food is.. pretty sure they could be serving cat meat. It made me feel a lil queezy and I hope I don't get food poisoning.
So much food. Both my husband and I ate. Couldn’t eat it all. Taste great! Good variety! Great friendly service.
I'm not one to leave reviews but this place was so bad I had to share my experience. Whatever you do, do not eat this place, the food is absolutely terrible ! I took my wife and kids here and it costed us $60 bucks for this sorry so called Mexican restaurant.
I really enjoyed speaking to the employees and the food was delicious. It definitely wasn’t authentic and I wish they had a broader selection of food at the buffet . Regardless of this, I would recommend going because the price is very affordable ,the staff is very friendly, and the buffet was fresh .

Do not eat here. Health department needs to pay a visit! Upon walking in the only lady working the floor was throwing a childs temper tantrum like a 10 year old. She yelled at us. Stated she was the manager and proceeded to yell at us why she was mad that noone had gone to the gas station to get ice yet. Mad because the owners had closed for 5 days and she had to do all the work in the back and the front. They finally got the ice and she slammed cups of ice and canned coke on our table. She was walking around slamming and banging everything she did. Slamming bananas in the food bin. I heard the glasses fall to the floor and then brought them immediately onnout. The buffet lacked utinsels to dish food out when we asked for one she yelled at my husband. She needs replaced, very very unprofessional. We almost left wish we had of. The food was luke warm at best. It is a small country veggie/ some mexican food buffet. To call it a mexican buffet is a strectch. Food was nasty. Orange canned cheese sauce. Stale chips, meat was barely lukewarm and extremely tough. Didnt even look appetizing. I was worried eating it and barely ate meat. No hand sanitizer anywhere. Mexican rice was full of peas corn and carrots. We couldnt even tell if one dish was taco meat or not. Jar salsa. When asked if it was salsa she was very rude. It was as if cans were opened and barely microwaved. It was trurely gross. I was sick all afternoon. We warned customers going in, turn back now. She apoligized to the other set of people in there when they checked out. They were just as freaked out as us.
This place doesn't even deserve one star. Very limited menu. Buffet was uneatable and below safe serve temperatures. Drinks were flat. Would not recommend anyone waste money here or take their chance on getting food poisoning from food not being kept at a safe temperature.
Don't waste your time! The first thing that sent a sign we should have walked out was the blaring music over blown speakers. It was not suitable for a Mexican food restaurant. The food was below par and not worth consuming. There's plenty of restaurants down the road, keep driving!
Brought the grand kids out for the Cades cove loop and some food. Ended up at this bust. All 6 of us got sick, worst food imaginable. Very greasy, didn't taste good. The steak fajitas were nothing but grisel. won't ever go back. everyone got the craps
This is the worst Mexican place I have ever been to. It's a poor representation of real Mexican food, and a risk to your health. The buffet has very limited options and zero temperature control. We ordered from the menu thinking it was going to be better, and it awful. The beans were so cold, it seemed they'd been seating on a shelf all day! Do not come to this place if you value your health.
