Very charming place to come and enjoy a beverage with your friends and family. There’s a convenient playground for kids to stay entertained so you and your group are able to chat a bit. There is ample outdoor spaces and quite a diverse menu. I have always encountered friendly staff and other patrons. I absolutely love the complimentary soda machine. It’s a really cool place.

Cool place, good beer and food. I stopped in after hitting the Smokey’s On the way back to the airport. Decent selection of their own beer with a few others from other breweries and a non alcoholic one too. Large patio with a kids play area. They said it gets crazy busy in the summer with the traffic through town, seems like a pass through town to me not much there.

Edited based on mgmt response to original review (because the customer is always right and I appreciate when businesses take that seriously)!Been here over a dozen times in the last year...- Great place to gather with a large group of friends (or visiting guests)- The venue is awesome, loud inside, quiet outside- Decent beer selection (I'm not big into sours and gose - but they have those - and they always have great IPAs)In my original review, I mentioned that folks behind the counter the last time I visited were kind of aloof. But to be fair, that hasn't been my overall experience. Most of the time they're cool. Just know that this place is popular and if you go on a weekend you're gonna get the kind of service that a crazy popular venue can give, within reason... I mean, it's popular folks! Also, in my original review, I mentioned that this place is more of a corporate investor type of venue. While that's not accurate per se in the sense that Oldham Hospitality is not a corporation, they definitely are restaurant group, and they definitely have invested a bit in either transforming or creating more than a few of the newest (or more recent) dining and lodging venues in Townsend. To the locals, that doesn't always sit right. BUT, you really can't argue with the results - just about everything they touch is fantastic overall, and in the case of Apple Valley and SMOC is 1000 times better then it was.

This was an outstanding restaurant to go to after a long hike! They seared a delicious salmon for me, and those truffle fries just couldn't get any better! The overall restaurant was clean and busy, with an outdoor play area for the family to hangout including cornhole! Lastly, there is a great selection of alcohol to choose from! This would be a great restaurant to go to!Vegetarian options: There are salads to choose from!Dietary restrictions: Many options for vegan and gluten free people!Parking: The parking is right in front of the restaurant. The place can be busy sometimes, but there should be enough spots.Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly and have an outdoor play area for the family!

The food is absolutely incredible and the menu is perfectly designed to please everyone. Super friendly staff and offer amazing service every time . Lunch or dinner this place will impress. Do not leave without at buying at least three brownies per person because they may be the most addicting thing I have ever had in my life!Keep up the great work!

No to go orders available at 5:50 PM when they close at 9PM. Not customer friendly at all. A bit arrogant.

This place has grown exponentially! We went a few months ago and now it is so much more amazing!! The taco building outside helps with the long order lines inside. Plenty of outside play for the kids. The food was so good, I can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: Healthy vegetarian menu options

Great place to stop after hiking. Good selection of local beers on tap as well as a few NA beers. The salad was awesome and the pizza was pretty good as well. They have a large inside and outside space to hang out in any weather. There's also a taco truck with margs outside but we didn't try them out. Food was fast and staff was polite and helpful with diet restrictions.

Great truffle fries, pizza, and grilled cheese. Sorry no pics - was very hungry! The beers are great! Lots of servers and staff. Modern and open dining area. Highly recommend!
