I'm surprised by the low reviews. This was one of the only places in this town that didn't feel like an overpriced tourist trap with bad food. Stopped in for breakfast with a large group and the staff were very accommodating. We had biscuits and gravy, several hearty omelets, oatmeal, etc, plate lunches with okra and grilled chicken; everyone enjoyed their meal. I haven't found REAL biscuits and gravy at a restaurant in years and Townsend pancake house delivered....
