Waited 45 minutes because we failed to make reservations, but it was worth every minute. We had the filet and the pan seared trout. Best steak anywhere and cooked exactly the way we ordered. Best trout I think we’ve ever had. Don’t pass on dessert even if you have to get it to go! Great waitress, too.

Worst dining experience ever. I’m an older person and this is not an exaggeration. I took my friend for his birthday Saturday since he had been wanting to go here for awhile. We had never been but were looking forward to it. What a mistake and so embarrassing. The wait was 45 minutes before being seated. The waitress finally took our order and disappeared. Drinks and bread showed up about 30 minutes later and never refilled. My friends steak and baked potato came out in about an hour. It was just okay. I got a burger and fries. The burger had an old dried bun that fell apart. The meat was cold. I was told the fries were not ready yet and given the burger. Fries came out way later. Who wants them then?? People walked in way after we were seated, ate their food and left. Others in the dining room were laughing at us. Told us to have a pizza delivered!! Hostess took 15% off check. Ha!! I paid but I was furious! I would still be furious if it was free!!! NEVER AGAIN ? (Sad to say we were really hungry when we came to this place) 0 stars - I had to give 1 to post

Heard about this place through a local chainsaw carver. It definitely stood up to the talk. Best meal I had while on vacation. Small place but big flavors! The rolls and cinnamon butter were great!

The food was good.. the trout portion said a 8 oz. Rainbow trout butterflied... there was no way the trout was 8 ounces.. also we were told the back potatoes would take another 10 minutes to come out we were offered another side instead which we declined... next thing we know they brought out the entree minus the side... unbelievable.... sadly I had to reflect our disappointment in my tip.
Patience is a virtue. They are a small family owned restaurant that occasionally has staffing issues. HOWEVER, if you are willing to wait to get a table you WILL NOT be disappointed. Food and service is phenomenal.

This place came highly recommended. It did seem like it would be a fine place to dine. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and would have liked to have mixed drink or a glass of wine with our meal. That is not permitted in that county. The wait staff was very pleasant, we did leave and go to Sevierville upon recommendation of a fellow diner at trailhead steaks and trout to a place called seasons 101 and it was an excellent recommendation. That was just what we were looking for,

Frozen ribeye, trout had no flavor. My husband and I both had a bad taste in our mouth after and felt sick. An hour wait and it wasn't even busy. I'll stick to eating in pigeon forge.

Lovely dinner! Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. The rest of the staff were very nice as well. Steak cooked to perfection. We will make this a regular go to. They take reservations Sunday to Thursday. We made our reservation for Sunday and we were seated right away. They also provide a nice veteran discount.
