Went in today for a take out lunch. The first thing I noticed is how expensive this place is. I wanted burnt ends but at $28.00 for a meal I thought no thank you. I did however order a pulled pork meal ($18) and a smoked pork chop meal ($18). When I got home I had two pulled pork meals. Out of town catfish fans just had the catfish of our lives. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth. The baked beans were uniquely brilliant, and the hush puppies an obvious labor of love. The owners and staff are delightful, and we're so glad we lucked in to the right spot.
First of all, though the name is almost the same, IT IS NOT. This restaurant is under new Management, Keith Guire, Owner.
