First night in town the lady at the Green Room sent us to Hanks. We were so pleasantly surprised - really great steak & the fried shrimp platter was delicious. Definitely the place for a tasty dinner & cold beer.
We came up for a weekend and ate here as a last resort. It should not be a last resort for anyone traveling here! The steak was a great cut of meat and cooked very well. I’m not the type to review but it was a PLEASANT surprise. The staff actually seemed to enjoy being there which is a complete breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is friendly and fun!! We enjoyed sitting and watching and listening to the locals talk and laugh. Live music is a blast!!
We don’t get to eat there as much as we would like to but every time we go the food is great, service is great, beverages are great and the atmosphere is great!! Oh, their prices are very, very good!! We feel we’ve gotten outstanding food for what we pay!!!
