Shan’s Chinese Buffet is a popular spot, especially for truck drivers and travelers, thanks to its convenient location with plenty of truck parking and nearby amenities like a Pilot Truck stop and Southern Tire Mart. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh and homemade Chinese dishes, including fish, shrimp, chicken, crab wontons, spring rolls, and sushi, all tasting freshly cooked. Vegetables such as mushrooms, green beans, and broccoli are available for those who prefer vegetarian options. The food quality is generally praised as very good for a small town, and the prices are considered fair. Many customers appreciate the friendly staff and the good value for money, making it a highlight after a long drive. While some mention that the tea is weak and the egg drop soup is watered down, these minor negatives do not detract from the overall positive experience. The restaurant is also appreciated for its clean environment, ample parking, and the ability to buy food to go. Overall, Shan’s Chinese Buffet offers a satisfying and convenient dining experience for truckers and travelers alike.
