KAKI JAPANESE CUISINE TULLAHOMA

I found this place browsing through Facebook and had been wanting to try it because of the large, diverse menu, especially for this area. I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi with the soup for takeout. I left my house soon after, which is maybe 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. I got there and went to the counter, and the lady said it would be out soon. This took another roughly 15 minutes after I sat down in one of the chairs along the wall. While I was waiting, I did notice the place was quite small inside; it was really busy, but they seemed to be getting everyone seated efficiently as they came in. The sushi and other food coming out looked delicious, and people seemed to be enjoying it. I brought mine home and immediately ate it. Everything was fresh in my takeout box: the meat and veggies, as well as the rice. It was all delicious; however, the chicken was my favorite part of the dish. I will definitely be ordering or eating in at this place again and will likely try the sushi or another one of the hibachi options.

Absolutely loved our visit! We tried the beef pho, Kaki roll, and steak hibachi—and every single dish delivered. The beef pho was rich and flavorful with a perfectly balanced broth (you can tell it’s been simmered right). The Kaki roll was fresh, well-portioned, and had a great combination of textures. And the steak hibachi? Cooked exactly right—tender, juicy, and seasoned just enough to let the flavor shine. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out hot and timely. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to—highly recommend if you’re craving quality Japanese cuisine with some standout dishes!

Kaki's is the best food truck in Tullahoma, they have great food, always hot, and very quick. The lady at the window is always so nice and welcoming, Tullahoma doesn't have many good places to eat but this is definitely one of them !!

My husband and I have ordered via Doordash twice. Both times were good, but the first time was much better. The first time was 7/11/25 and I really wish I had taken pictures. Our food was so pretty and plated like you would get at a very nice restaurant. We ordered the hibachi teriyaki chicken with fried rice and the chicken egg rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious and it's a plentiful serving of rice and veggies. The egg rolls were yummy but I felt they were overpriced since you only get 3 and they are very small (about 2.5 inches).
The 2nd time we ordered was 08/20/25. We ordered the same entree but this time got the noodles and tried the chicken gyoza. The presentation was very messy. I was really surprised since the 1st time it was so nice. The sauce was everywhere even on the outside of the box. Last time the sauce came on the side and I prefer it that way since it has a strong flavor. We didnt really care for the noodles. They were mushy and plain. The gyoza was very good - steamed/sautéed and was a quantity of 5. We will definitely order from here again. I prefer their food over the other popular Japanese restaurant.

this place makes up their own hours said they were open on the sign and online and no one was even in the building.

The drinks taste like pepto bismal
And is very slimy I do not recommend I got the mango flavor and did not enjoy it

I have ate here many times and the food is SO good!!! The staff is always helpful when I have questions about new menu items I want to try. My 9 year old LOVES the noodles!!!! If you are considering eating here you will not be disappointed. They put ALOT of effort into making their food and truly value their customers.
