Located in the heart of Unicoi, the Whistle Stop is the place to go! It has delicious hoagies, sandwiches and wraps -you never know which one to pick because of how great it is!
My favorite is the Philly cheesesteak and the pastrami sandwich which are coated well with seasonings and condiments. They have plenty of sides (chips, salads,etc.)They have a great beverage selection (sweet tea, Dr. Enuf and Pepsi products). The outdoor area is beautiful and well kept....

A real gem. If you are traveling up or down I26 between Asheville and Johnson City this is a must stop. Located about 40 minutes above Asheville and 20 mi mutes below Johnson City, this is a must stop. Very reasonably priced.. huge portions. Just down right good. Located about one mile off the interstate.
