Looks can be delicious, i mean deceiving. It's like eating at grandma's house. You come in take a seat knowing that you're about to eat something good. Prices are great, food is even better. Serving size is perfect. If I loved closet I would eat here more often. 100% recommended.
The minute we walked in we were greeted by the locals, a lady across the table from us got up and came to remove some left over cups from the previous people and then her husband came and wiped the table clean. They do not work there, they saw how busy it was so they lend a hand. The lady that took care of us knew everyone by name and treated us like we were part of the locals. I had the best tasting pancakes I’ve had in a long time. My husband had eggs, country ham, biscuits...
Oh my lord! What an unexpected treat! I drive through Watuaga all of the time for work and saw this diner. I looked up the reviews and KNEW I HAD to eat there. I woke up early enough before work to get there this morning and oh my gosh!!! That breakfast would beat any of y'all's grandma's! Portions were perfect and the taste of it all is unmatched! My friend and I have been bragging and thinking about this place all day! ------- the waitress is a sweet little spit...
