“I support the Boardwalk because this is a local hangout where folks can meet up and relax. We are a small community that has been through so much, from the train explosion to tornadoes to floods. But we are a Tight Community. We are resilient, we pull together and support each other. I witnessed firsthand how hard Lori Roche worked through the pandemic to keep this business thriving. I proudly wear my T-shirt. She’s a hard working woman who’s dedicated to this business and she loves her community and friends who gather here. The Boardwalk is our little “Cheers” in Waverly! Folks born after 1990 may not have a clue what I’m talking about! I’m proud we have this business where “everybody knows your name”! If you haven’t had their pizza or paninis you’re missing out! They will fix it however you like it and don’t mind special orders at all! I’m not a fan of Ranch dressing so I order a chicken bacon Alfredo panini instead and it’s Divine! I believe we should support all of our local businesses and build each other up. That’s what friends do! Nothing good is ever accomplished from negative comments or slandering. I would like to go on record recommending everyone visit the Boardwalk and meet the friendly bartenders and the hard working manager Lori Roche for themselves. Order from their menu and relax awhile. I’m positive you will walk away feeling good!“
