The owner walks around and visits with guests. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting. The food is under priced for the quality. It's the most bang for your buck on absolutely superior Japanese food.

Food was crappy every time we went. Found out there was new owners. So we tried it again. They had a new menu so we were pretty excited. Unfortunately the food was still pretty crappy. Spent $75 on tasteless food. Service was crap (yes the waitress was new but we barely saw her and the place was empty). Will not be returning.

New ownership has made a difference. Place feels clean and brighter than before. If you had been to this place previously, you'll certainly notice a difference. Stopped in for lunch and were quickly seated. We were the only ones at the place first but the dining room was about 50% full by the time we left at 1PM on a Friday. Service was quick and attentive. Food was good as well. New owner came over to check on us a couple times. Seems like a good dude. 2 Hibachi lunches, 1 shrimp tempura roll and 2 drinks with taxes = $41. Not bad, especially considering there was enough to take home for another meal. We plan to go back more now that the ownership change has taken place. We hope they continue their positive momentum.
