Went inside for a doordash order and have been waiting for almost an hour. Asked if i could grab our dash order and the older lady snapped on me and told me not to touch the bag when I plainly asked if that was my order, While being rushed making another mans order to go. I have a medical heart condition and this sent me into a frenzy with palpitations. I was discussing with my boyfriend on how long we’ve been waiting for this order and being told it was almost done by a young male worker there about three different times. The Lady then proceeded to cut into our conversation by saying “Us people have feelings too” And then i walked out of the store myself because she of how hostile the situation was becoming. She then followed me out and yelled out the door that I was banned from the restaurant. Very disappointed with this altercation.

Fun local diner with a old-time diner atmosphere.They have down-south meat and three options, but also excellent hamburgers and fried chicken.Hand dipped ice cream and shakes , Sundrop fountain soda and excellent crinkle fries.I think they are under new management/ownership, but everything is still the same smooth operation as before.You walk in and order at the counter. You get a number card to put on your table and your food arrives quickly.There are daily specials to try.Wheelchair friendly all the way, ample free parking.Expect Holts to be busy on weekdays at lunch time, it's popular for a reason!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and child friendly waitstaff.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy parking and no steps/stairs to entrance.

This was my second visit to Holt's diner.I had the fried chicken 2 piece dark meat plate. It came with 1 side and a roll. I had the potatoes and gravy. The fried chicken was very good. The leg piece was very tiny, but the thigh was regular size. The breading was very good, and seasoned well. They also have hand scooped ice cream, and milk shakes.

Oh Holt’s Diner, how we want to leave a better review. But ever since the change of ownership, this restaurant has declined. Today, we walked in and not one table was clean and had old dishes needing to be bussed piled on every table. the floors were were very dirty and our feet stuck to them as we walked, the staff was very young and looked miserable and clearly did not care at all about helping us or whether we lived or died. We asked about getting a table cleaned off and it took awhile for the emotionless cashier to come help. They were handing out plastic utensils because they were out of silverware. I suspect it was all in the dining room on the tables. Please do a deep clean of this restaurant and work on your staff skills. They clearly do not care. We were not hopeful about the speed and quality of the food but we were not disappointed and our dinners came quickly and tasted great. But as I ate, I wondered about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Please work on the atmosphere. The upbeat 50’s music did not match the restaurant tonight.
