Chilangos Mexican Restaurant

We pass through Woodbury often and have wondered if this place was any good. It’s not the worst ever, but highly disappointing. The best item was barely a 3/5 with most a 1/5 or even 0/5. If you’re curious like we were, I recommend you drive on by.

The beef was spoiled and we told the waiter about it and he paid no attention. He then replaced the plate with another and still the beef was spoiled we asked him to then smell it (because the smell was awful itself) he refused to smell it. And when we asked him to let the kitchen know and ask them to smell it. he said ok and walked and threw it in the trash can. And he never told the kitchen nor did he smell or taste the beef.

Customer Service sucks called to order take out food. They hung up on me 3 different times was very rude over the phone. I asked for order total & again they hung up on me. Used to like restaurant but will never step foot in store again

I'm not sure how this place has any 5 star reviews. We went for dinner and the food was atrocious, the service was lacking, and overall the experience was terrible. When we got home, my husband couldn't keep his dinner down. The cheese dip we ordered was the consistency of milk, tasted like it, too. The chips were thick and the salsa had no flavor. I got chicken fajitas and there were maybe 6 tiny pieces of chicken on it and the rice and beans were bland. My husband got crunchy steak tacos and he said they were chewy and flavorless. And like I said, they didn't stay down. Thankfully, the prices are reasonable so we didn't spend an arm and a leg for food poisoning. The ONLY upside was the beer. My husband got a 34oz beer for about $6, and that was the only thing about the dinner he liked! Our waitress seemed like she was terrified of us, too. She only came by a handful of times, avoided eye contact, and spoke so softly we could barely hear her. Mostly she stayed in the kitchen and seemed to avoid us. Needless to say, we will never, ever be back. We'll make the drive to Nacho's in Murfreesboro from now on. Super disappointing (and disgusting).
