“I don’t usually write reviews, but I had such a great experience here I had to share. The two ladies who helped us were a 10/10 for kindness and customer service. I believe one may have been the owner, and she even gave me a free sample of their coffee just because I was curious about it, which was so thoughtful! The brown sugar shaken espresso I ordered was amazing, and I don’t say that lightly, I’m so picky about my espresso, & the girl who made it was so lovely to talk to. 🥹 They made my husband, my son Reece, and me feel so welcome. Truly such a kind and welcoming place — definitely give them your business! Oh and the muffin I got 🤤”

“The food was delicious, the portions were large and the prices were low. The chicken fajita was enough to serve two and it came to the table sizzling hot. I paid a little over $90 with tip for 4 people. If I wanted Mexican food in Shelbyville, I'd go here again.”

“This restaurant has great food, amazing pizza for sure. What's endearing about DJ's that it has that southern, small town charm. There's a lot of camaraderie between the workers and customers and the waitresses and staff are very courteous and polite. It's definitely worth the hour and change drive from Baxter, every couple of weeks.”

“Every time we go to A J’s it is a pleasant experience! They have a buffet for lunch which has delicious southern fried chicken and veggies.

They have delicious ice cream (hard scoop) and dessert with the buffet.

Lunch buffet hours I think are 11am-1:45pm(call them to double check)
