Thank you DJ’S Pizza & Steak House for our wonderful food. Also they have kind & courteous staff that allowed our table to have a puppy dawg with us on the back porch. Woodbury & everyone else agrees that DJ’s Pizza & Steak House is GREAT.

The phone does not eat first round here

My husband and I had lunch at DJ’s today and we really enjoyed it! We ordered the stromboli supreme and it was absolutely delicious perfectly baked, flavorful, and generous in portion this was enough for both of us.

Have heard absolutely amazing things about this restaurant! Was seeing all our friends in Woodbury from the boro and decided to try it! My boyfriend and I both ordered calzones. His came out perfect, they brought out a Stromboli for me and when I asked our waitress if it it was a Stromboli because I ordered a calzone she says “yeah it’s different but it’s like the same thing so it’s fine” and rolls her eyes at me.. I was like oh okay….. after that she was extremely rude to us and ignoring us. She came around again and asked how everything was going I said “its good but honestly I wish I got what I ordered” she rolls her eyes and says “well it’s like the same it’s fine” extremely rude… I have worked in multiple restaurants and I would never be rude and nasty as she was. It was the older lady with the bright blue fake contacts…. Good luck if you have her

Dj’s is something of a local legend. People come from larger surrounding metro areas to enjoy this hometown restaurant. I believe the big pull is their local steak sourced right here in Cannon County. It is Italian/American cuisine served quickly with southern small town charm. The restaurant has tons of different options for you to choose from. My favorite dish to get is the calzone(any of them). Today I wanted a sandwich so I went with the “DJ” sandwich. This sandwich was like an Italian sub, with tomato lettuce pickles cheese and assorted “Italian” meats. My children were with me and ordered the kids grilled cheese w/fries and a side of onion rings, one regular fettuccine Alfredo, and one personal cheese pizza. We got an order of fried pickles as an appetizer to share.

Service was wonderful, our waitress did everything with a smile and friendly demeanor. She came back regularly to check on us sitting outside on the patio.

I have nothing too much to gripe about it was food that we ordered served by friendly staff. But my biggest complaint was the prices. I don’t like to knock places for the prices they charge especially during this time when everything is so expensive but the price of everything seemed high. Especially for the food you were served. My sandwich alone was $8.75 (literally just the sandwich) but to add French fries it was a $4 up charge. Let’s just say if you’re bringing the family be ready to spend.

Also they have WONDERFUL huge cakes and desserts treats that my children absolutely love! Definitely worth stopping in if you have a sweet tooth!

This restaurant has great food, amazing pizza for sure. What's endearing about DJ's that it has that southern, small town charm. There's a lot of camaraderie between the workers and customers and the waitresses and staff are very courteous and polite. It's definitely worth the hour and change drive from Baxter, every couple of weeks.

First, this restaurant has been a staple in our town for a lot of years for a reason. Their menu is fairly diverse and rarely do we have any issues with the food. That being said, my family usually enjoys fried mushrooms and they're not offered at as many places as in the past. BUT they need to be cooked correctly. Cooking them at too hot of a temperature and too fast only results in a crunchy coating (a good thing!) and unfortunately barely warm mushrooms on the inside. A lower temperature and a slightly longer time in the fryer will insure thoroughly cooked mushrooms AND that crunchy outer coating. (Suggesting such a thing in person shouldn't goad the cook into mocking a customer and referring to them as a "Karen".) Working in food service longer than the cook has been alive might just give that customer a bit of earned knowledge.

Do not recommend the bread sticks. They were super flat, hard, and zero flavor. Wasn't even what I ordered actually. I ask for garlic bread. There's no garlic on them. $10 for something I can't even chew.

Had a veggie Stromboli with a Greek salad. The stromboli was good and enough for three small meals.
