My wife and I attended the Whispers of Short Mountain Murder Mystery Experience. It was awesome! The staff was great and beyond friendly. We can’t wait for the next one!
We attended mystery murder and dinner event tonight. It was awesome!
Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, service was friendly and the view beautiful.
Absolutely amazing meal and service, we ate outside and the manager set us up next to the fire for a super romantic meal. The smoked pork was some of the best I've ever had. Great selections on food and drinks, highly recommended you try them out.
This was so disappointing!! The website is so much false advertising, there's no Greenway trail, several employees didn't even know what we were talking about! No "Farm", waterfalls or anything listed about the beautiful grounds, & the mile trail surrounding ,no disc golf we saw one cage on lawn that needs some mowing. Didn't do distillery so can't comment. The restaurant was nice as well as employees ( super friendly) & appetizers we had. Try the whiskey flight!! We had fun sitting on the balcony celebrating our daughter & son in laws anniversary. I wish I could review the restaurant separately. We could've got that closer to home, but the drive from Murfreesboro was beautiful.
Sides were cold, steak was overcooked. Took an hour to get food. Servers were nice but I wouldn't return
Was in smithville for a tournament and was super disappointed. We waited 55 mins for our food when we were one of three tables in there. Once the food came, we had to send steaks back and sides were cold. Then the bill took forever and extra charges added. Honestly was super disappointed. Will not go back.
Walked in on a day they apparently had a event. They should close the restaurant when they do. If you have 20-40 dollar plates, you can't have workers yelling at other workers in the dining room like it's a dive bar. Not to mention the number of black flys in the room. When I asked about the distillery offerings, he said they were on the side that the wedding was on. Poor planning and bad hygiene.
One of the best old school distilleries in the great state of Tennessee. These folks honor tradition and authenticity to the fullest. Incredible Tennessee Whiskey.
We took the tour and did the mixology class as a random date night and ended up pleasantly surprised. I'm not even a huge fan of moonshine but loved hearing about the history. Our tour guide was witty and informative. He also made artisan crafts which were for sale that we found to be awesome.
The mixology class was interactive and made for a great date. There were jokes all the way around and our bartender was attentive and fun. They offered food with the class and we adored their spiral fries. We had so much fun, we were cutting up with the other guests so much we all forgot to get our brownie at the end.
Will happily recommend and visit again. ?

Very nice and peaceful, food is delicious and the people are great. Very good service.
Our tour started off with Cameron and DJ at the distillery. They love what they do and do what they love ... Spirits! Very educational, entertaining, and tasty. Bobby hooked up the mules for a wagon ride on the 400 acre farm. The ride was narrated by the farm owner Billy who expanded on the property's purpose and conservation work ... awesome what he is doing. We went to the restaurant, Stillhouse, for a late lunch. Zachary served us an awesome lunch ... the moonshine brownie is to "die for". Put it straight, Short Mountain Distillery should be on your "must do list"
Great place to learn the intricacies of distilling. Great whisky. Bought a bottle to take home. On top of that a wonderful restaurant on the premises to enjoy a fabulous meal. Good times! The next day, a second meal, a storm (see video), it stopped, we enjoyed more time at this treasure of a stop.
Love this place, found it a few years ago. Picked up a bottle when I first went they had said was no longer being made there. Still have some left…. Here we are a few years later and picked up another bottle. Just love this place and brunch was awesome.
The tour was so much fun. We went for the celebration of there 7 year release honey whiskey! It was delicious. The tour was full of history, laughter and a good time. Definitely will be back. The live bands were wonderful to listen to.
