I don’t know what I expected when I ordered this sandwich, but it definitely wasn’t sadness with a side of disappointment. I bit into it and heard it crunch and this wasn’t a toasted sandwich. No, this was emotional damage on two buns. The lady at the front was so rude.. I guess if I made disappointing sandwiches all day I would be rude too

I build my own sandwich here with turkey and ham with cheddar cheese. It was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. The atmosphere was great and service is very friendly.

Extremely overpriced, food is very disappointing. It is barebones. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with 2 slices of meat and one slice of cheese, it was somehow 12$ and it still didn’t even taste good.

I work downtown and this morning, I forgot my breakfast. I decided to stop in at Bogies and it was my first time eating breakfast there. I was warmly greeted by what I assume was the manager or owner — he was incredibly friendly and quick to welcome me.
I mentioned that I’d never tried their breakfast before, and he took the time to explain the different types of breakfast bagels they offer. He was very kind and attentive. The prices were very affordable; I spent less than $10, and everything was made fresh to order.
I chose the Hollywood Lightning (2018) with sausage, and it was fantastic — if you like things with a little heat, this one’s for you! He also mentioned they offer online ordering and call-ahead options, which is very convenient.
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely make Bogies my new downtown breakfast spot. Thanks again!

My wife, son, and I ate here and it was fairly disappointing. I enjoy supporting local places and enjoyed the general atmosphere, but the prices and portions/quality was not there. I believe we spent 60 bucks on 3 sandwiches and a kids sandwich. Not only that, but upgrading from basic ruffles to a flavored chip was an upcharge. There was nothing special and nothing that set it apart from a typical home made sandwich.

For a $20 sandwich there should be more to it. The total for a sandwich and a soda was $24. Nice staff. Good location. Definitely not worth the price. Go somewhere else.

Very nice deli, staff is always friendly and helpful. Brought my wife, son, and a friend who really enjoyed their first time eating there. One of the very few sandwich places that has sprouts for your sandwich. Love and will definitely be back to try more of their sandwiches.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Now that I work in the area I just go here for lunch all the time. I want to try more things on their menu but due to health restrictions I can only have a few things, but to be honest I’m ok with it. Portions on their salads (including this bad boy here, Isle of Fury) are massive and delicious. Also I really really appreciate the cashier because they know my name and allays always address me by my name. If I got the same thing every time I’m pretty sure they would see me walking in and just know my order by heart. Good customer service is so hard to come by these days! It’s never super packed either when I go in so it’s comfortable. I’m kinda surprised though because this place should be super packed all the time ! It’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Consistently good food and good customer service. Also the food comes out really fast. I love this place and I’m so glad I’m at a place where I can enjoy it daily ☺️.

Everything is bigger in Texas except this sandwich shop. One slice of meat on a Walmart roll. Shockingly this place was suggested to us by a local.

Loved the Bogart atmosphere. Really good sandwich. I had the Caine Mutany aka a Ruben This is the first place I have gotten a Ruben with spicy mustard instead of thousand island which I love. Try it sometime.
Had a great experience for ordering a Togo order, staff were nice got greeted at entering bogies A+. Food was great I got the Oklahoma kid and it did not disappoint, i love avocado. And received a warm macadamia cookie which usually I’m used to cold cookies but that was great. Definitely will be back.
We are only briefly passing through Abilene on a road trip. I had a Hollywood Canteen with extra bacon and Sausage. Great breakfast!! Extremely welcoming service, very accommodating and great food. Plus as new customers we got a free chocolate brownie.
