“We had a very good experience eating there. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff was attentive and professional. And the food was great. Portions were big too. It is a little pricey but not so much so that I wouldn't go back. I don't give anyone 5 stars as a rule of thumb. But they definitely deserve 4 across the board. Well done!”

“My husband and I were passing through Abilene Texas and was looking for places to eat downtown. Cypress Street Station was rated high so we decided to try them out. So glad we did, it was a wonderful fine! The place was beautifully decorated and the building has been there since the 1920’s , it has great personality! The staff were all so friendly and very welcoming when we arrived. Our waitress was excellent also so very attentive and so nice!! But y’all the food was really really great!! We got to meet the owner and she was really nice too . So my advise to you is , if you are come to or passing through AbileneTexas liked us,take the time to stop by and have a meal with these folks. You will not regret it!! Great experience, great restaurant.”

“This place is GOLDEN! Came here for a late lunch with my folks while I was in town. I wish it could give it 10 stars! Chips are like none I’ve ever had before. I knew this place would be good based off the chips and salsa and queso. Amazing! I had the chicken fajita lunch plate and was very pleasantly surprised at the portion size for the price. Taste was awesome and service was top notch! I will definitely be back when I visit Abilene!”

“Fun little nano brewery, directly next to a super great Airbnb (Opa's). Very nice and helpful people working here, she gave me some local recommendations.We had such a fun time, there are some games, snacks, and fun brew flavors. My fave was the pickled beet sour. There was a pretty good turn out for the Thursday night trivia game.Very relaxed atmosphere, had some bags and giant Jenga outside and a fire pit. Definitely recommend this.”

“My husband and I used the bakery for our bridal and groom cakes at our wedding and I couldn't be more pleased. We've all been to the wedding where the cake looks nice, but taste can be lacking. However, Milk and Honey made two beautiful cakes that tasted AMAZING. We got so many compliments on both cakes for tasting wonderful and being so moist and delicious. They were wonderful to work with, communicative, and got our cakes delivered to our venue with no issues! I would highly recommend them for wedding cakes!”

“Came for the first time, my husband was working in the area for a bit. Kaleb, our bartender, was absolutely without a doubt the best bartender/mixologist we've ever had. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. No matter how many times I thanked him, he thanked me in return for being a customer. I cannot express enough how awesome he was! The food was fantastic as well. While the menu is small, it was delicious. Get the artichoke dip with bread. I swear, no joke, the bread was PERFECT! Crispy on the edge, tender in the middle and the dip was fantastic. I had several drinks on the menu and i was absolutely blown away with how delicious they were. Every single drink was to die for! We'll definitely be back and frequently! 5 stars are not enough!”

“A very conveniently located club in the heart of South Abilene. They feature a good compliment of local artists performing on a regular basis, the layout is open and comfortable with a separate area dedicated for the floor section in front of the stage. An upstairs area offers killer views of the stage and a comfortable setting to enjoy whatever event is taking place. Staff is generally friendly and the overall atmosphere is great. I look forward to having my eardrums blown out on a regular basis here.”

“It's all about the atmosphere. In fact, I think the atmosphere makes the food tastes even better, mostly snack foods, but their special even foods are great too. Great wine selection. A wonderful place for Abilene to have for the couples who want a romantic date.”

“Tonight we ordered two stuffed chopped brisket potatoes, beans, and peach cobbler. Everything was made so well. The flavor was perfect. The price was very reasonable for what we ordered. I went through the drive thru and took it home and it took about 10 minutes to order and get my food. Wonderful experience all the way around.”

“My wife and I were in Abilene for a day trip. We've been craving barbecue, so we looked up Joe Allen's. When we arrived, we found the atmosphere to be inviting. We were seated and served quickly. I had the lunch special steak (New York Cut), and she had the two meat combo. Everything was delicious, and our server made sure we were happy. There was so much food that we didn't have room for dessert.”

“I ran out of fuel in the Sam's parking lot, far from the fuel pumps. I went inside and figured if anyone would know how to help me, it would be the tire guys. The guy at the tire desk was super nice and called someone to help. A guy named Jared (pretty sure he was management based on how nicely he was dressed) came to my aid. He grabbed a Jerry can and siphon and came out to my car and put enough fuel in it to get me to the fuel pump. He was super helpful! He had to tell me that it was him personally helping me, not Sam's, for liability purposes, I'm sure. But I can't rave enough on how awesome he was! He was so helpful, especially in 104° temperatures. The man deserves some kind of accolades and recognition! He wouldn't let me pay him, so I hope Sam's will take notice of this incredible employee!”

“I walked in when they had just opened. The service was great! The gal that made my drink was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I ordered a peanut butter cup frappe, and it was delicious!”

“My experience with this restaurant has been superb. The food was very well prepared, beautifully presented, and our server, Brooke, was the most delightful person, we wanted to take her home with us. She was attentive, but didn't hover, had a wonderful sense of humor, and really made us feel the love. We had a long table in the back of the restaurant where the sound level didn't interfer with our conversation, and the ambiance of the game trophies is fun, upbeat and upscale. “Great food for the price. I would lean more towards the steaks and porks, the turkey was a little lacking. My fault for going to a BBQ place and ordering turkey. Pulled pork, brisket, okra, and jalapeno corn were all delicious, though not quite to "Texas BBQ" standards.Vegetarian options: None. It's a BBQ place. Go somewhere else if you're vegetarian.”

They offer coloring/activity sheets with crayons to keep kids busy. They also have highchairs.Wheelchair accessibility: This location has handicapped parking and a wheelchair ramp to enter. The restaurant is spacious and could be easily maneuvered with a wheelchair. I love that there are tables to pull your wheelchair up to and you're out of the way so you can enjoy your meal with friends and family and not feel like you're blocking an aisle. The restrooms are large and handicapped accessible.”

“Mr Jonathan Berry posted: The store is a scam artist if you order online they require a picture of your driver's license to pick up your order and if you don’t let them write down your information they cancel your order.No sir the store isn't a scam and the only time they ask for an id is if you order online- through the app for pickup and ur order is over $20. If you have an online order over $20 just remember you have to show a picture id to pick it up if you dont have one yes ur order will be cancelled because there isnt proof that it was really ur card and could be unauthorized transactions better safe than sorry. Whats so bad showing ur id”

“Not sure why the reviews are people being "extra" but I've been to this Hooters 3 times now and once did a pick up and always had great food, fast and courteous service. I'm about to order more tonight!”
