“We often walk our dogs at Allen Ridge and stop for lunch at Cork & Pig. We sit in the outdoor patio and enjoy the scenery while also enjoying our favorite pizza. Nicole is our requested server and she is the best. We also enjoy dinner there and the food is wonderful, we have never been disappointed. The wait staff are great and accommodating. We are retired so enjoy eating out often, Cork & Pig is at the top of our list.”

“came to shop and get food! got a combo went to the fountain drinks and they were ALLL out. just ice in one of them and when we went to tell them they said grab a can drink. later we told someone because we felt bad for everyone else that didn’t know because the cashier wasn’t telling anyone. later we over heard someone say “they want us to take down the signs (only 2) on the fountain drink machine” literally didn’t care that people were so confused on why it wasn’t working. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! STEP IT UP especially if we are paying 40+ $$ for memberships!!!”

“I was curious about their smoked wings, so I took the plunge and ordered them through DoorDash. The smoked flavor was noticeable in the skin but not so much the meat of the wings, but it was still good. I ordered a 16 count smoked bone in wings combo, because I wanted to try two flavors but I'm a wuss when it comes to spice. So I ordered the Orange Express and Buffalo, which were both a little on the spicy to me but as I said I'm a wuss. The Orange Express was my fave out of the two, and would recommend folks try to it especially with the smoked wings. I also ordered a hand pie with caramel and pecan OH MY GOODNESS it was delicious! I would order from there again, but could y'all please have an extra crispy mod for online and Door Dash orders please....”

“I really like Texas Roadhouse. The steaks are always cooked perfect, the rolls with that cinnamon butter are addictive, and the service is consistently great. Friendly staff and solid portions.
Only downside is it gets pretty loud in there, especially on busy nights. Hard to chat without yelling sometimes”

“OK I don’t rave about places often, but Winchester Pub and Grill is on point! Yes, it’s a pub / grill and the food is humble, a tiny bit pricey, but man is it worth it! We went in for lunch and had the smoked bacon wrapped peppers, two drinks, I had the shaved ribeye with onion rings (SOOOOO many onion rings!), my husband had the 12-piece wings (way bigger than Wingstop wings) with sweet potato waffle fries. The bill was around $55 for all of it. I have never had a "ribeye" sandwich before that was really ribeye, but this was! so tender and juicy and not chewy or grizzly at all! I could only eat half of it; it was so big! We both brought enough food home for dinner too! This thing was over 8 inches long. We are from Buffalo NY and my husband said the "buffalo wings" were spot on. The smoked bacon wrapped peppers? OMG sooooooo good! THICK slices of bacon, you could taste the smoke and even with the generous sized pepper the bacon covered the whole thing. I scarfed them down so fast I got the picture after I had already eaten a few lol. The only tiny issue I had was the onion rings and waffle fries were cooked just a tad browner than I like them but it was no real biggie. All in all, great food, prices were good for the value they give, and the owner is a wonderful lady who dotes on you the whole time you are there! GO!!!”

Very fresh and as if the ownerscooks understood the taste profile. Loved it. Also had the focaccia, it isn't like I was expecting but it did NOT disappoint. I loved the blast of garlic and herbs, the mozzarella was so good. Tried the Pasta Samper (Lasagna, Pene Pasta, Manicotti) I love the amount of cheese that covered the dish. The stuffing in the manicotti was so creamy and smooth. I really enjoyed the beef in the dish is well very flavorful and cooked well. The salad with the house dressing is simply delightful. I could tell they were very busy this evening and even then they did not skip out on customer service and making sure the orders were right. No corners cut here. The food was hot, fresh, and overall a wonderful experience. Thank you for this amazing meal will definitely be back. Would love to try the stuffed pizza, calzone, or even Tarimissu next time. (I was tempted but already had plenty of food to sample) Keep up the great work definitely a great value especially with the cost of inflation these days and having to choose wisely where to go when dining out. I can't say enough great things about y'all. Even my partner who is part Italian on their father's side loved the sauce.”

“I just wanna brag on Chelsea's Burgers N' Brew as well as our waitress Erica today. We only come here maybe once a month but we love this place. Today was the first time we’ve been on a Sunday afternoon while the Cowboys are on as we usually go when it’s slower. Place was packed and the staff was swamped and might have been down a person or two in the kitchen. What matters most in times like those are how the restaurant staff handles it! Our waitress Erica was super friendly and professional and after us having to wait around an hour between our appetizer and finally getting our meals, Erica told us that she was gonna comp my wife and I’s two meals and we hadn’t even complained or anything. These local restaurants don’t HAVE to do that, y’all! Any chain restaurant and possibly other locals might have just had you pay any way like “deal with it.” So grateful for that customer service! Food was incredible as well! My wife enjoyed her burger and I highly enjoyed my Walk of Shame brunch dish (first time trying their brunch.) Much love to this place!!”

I’m glad I didn’t judge based on the fluorescent lights that screamed office space more than dining room because I found it to be harsh. What makes it hard to complain is that the food is on point. I didn’t taste anything that tasted reheated, over salted, or over flavored. The fish fry and fried chicken were my favorite. Crispy on the outside, and tender inside. I see commercials that make food look spectacular. They purport to serve it, but this location actually delivers.
My server Amelia always knew when I needed something. Good service and attention to the customer is a breath of fresh air.

“About average pizza buffet chain. Went on an extremely busy Saturday after graduations. The place was packed. The staff worked really well to keep the pizza and desserts stock at all times.

They handled the flow well.

The place could definitely use a good cleaning with lots of de-greaser the tables chairs walls etc.. all were a bit greasy and sticky.

“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. “Our Waitress Shareesa (sounded like Teresa but with a SH sound) was outstanding. As she was taking our order she was already thinking about our options that we weren't aware of. We ordered two orders of chicken tacos because that's why we were there. She asked if we wanted some of them beef because it wasn't actually listed. So we said yes, we got our gueso quickly, we got our food equally quickly, and my wife and I had talked about a dessert that we were hoping to try at a different restaurant to each other when ordering and later she let us know the kitchen was closing because it was close to the end of the business hours when were done. When she let us know she asked if we wanted dessert then described the exact dish we had been mid conversation about. It was SSSSOOO GOOD. It was called the Sally. She stayed on top of keeping our drinks more than half full, always smiled, and just made the whole experience fantastic despite being 30min to close. Which we didn't realize until we were sat down because we were next door at the mall when we decided to eat there. If I can pick her as our waitress every time I will!”

Having grown up with a grandmother who designed wedding cakes and a mother who could have easily run her own bakery, my standards are quite high. These cinnamon rolls are, without question, the softest and most moist I have ever tasted. The icing was exceptionally smooth—never grainy, as many are—and struck the perfect balance of sweetness. I only wish I had tried them sooner. Their fudge and other baked goods looked exceptional as well.”
