“Out for 60 Aniversary! Great greetings by staff! Full course fare. Appetizer was fried vegi combo onion ring, squash,and mushroom-excellent batter cooked tasty meal in itself. Then salad with bluecheese outstanding. Great chicken fry steak covering 1/2 platter, cooked perfect. Final was pecan pie w ice cream- had to carry out! “First off, don't EVER let the manager Santiago go again! We have been coming here for years and have always had amazing service and food. Until he was no longer here. The customer service was awful, the food was not good, and it took forever to get pizzas on the buffet. We tried it 3x while he was gone. It was never good! But today, at the request of our family, we tried yet again. SANTIAGO IS BACK!!!!! Absolutely made our day! The pizza was on point, customer service was wonderful! So much hot and fresh pizza on the buffet. Lots of variety. And pizza never ran out. We will continue coming back as long as Santiago is here!!“

“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.“

“I have been coming here for over 15 years, and it to this day is my favorite restaurant in Abilene! Jodie has made my burrito the last several times and these have been the best burritos I have ever had from Sharkys! Definitely recommend and see if you can get Jodie she is always a delight!“

“We came to Abilene specifically to try Mr. Burger, and it did not disappoint! We ordered a Jr. Burger, a Triple Cheeseburger, and fries. The burgers were exactly what a classic burger should be—simple, flavorful, and satisfying. What really stood out was that they weren't overly greasy like some burger places. Instead, they had that nostalgic, old-school burger taste that reminded me of childhood while still being absolutely delicious.

The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. They actually reminded me of the fries Burger King used to serve back in the '90s—golden, crunchy, and full of flavor. They were the perfect complement to the burgers.

Overall, the trip was well worth it. If you're looking for a classic burger experience that brings back memories while still delivering great food, Mr. Burger is definitely worth a visit.“
