“Definitely a hidden gem we have passed by this restaurant for years tonight I decided to stop not realizing it was 7:50 and they closed at 8:00. I apologized the owners were so friendly prepared the best meal for me to take home!! Can’t wait to go back!! Also the inside was absolutely spotless clean!!!“

“About average pizza buffet chain. Went on an extremely busy Saturday after graduations. The place was packed. The staff worked really well to keep the pizza and desserts stock at all times.

They handled the flow well.

The place could definitely use a good cleaning with lots of de-greaser the tables chairs walls etc.. all were a bit greasy and sticky.

“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.“

“I have been coming here for over 15 years, and it to this day is my favorite restaurant in Abilene! Jodie has made my burrito the last several times and these have been the best burritos I have ever had from Sharkys! Definitely recommend and see if you can get Jodie she is always a delight!“

“We came to Abilene specifically to try Mr. Burger, and it did not disappoint! We ordered a Jr. Burger, a Triple Cheeseburger, and fries. The burgers were exactly what a classic burger should be—simple, flavorful, and satisfying. What really stood out was that they weren't overly greasy like some burger places. Instead, they had that nostalgic, old-school burger taste that reminded me of childhood while still being absolutely delicious.

The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. They actually reminded me of the fries Burger King used to serve back in the '90s—golden, crunchy, and full of flavor. They were the perfect complement to the burgers.

I highly recommend supporting the open mic nights. You don’t have to be a pro or seasoned singer. It’s kind of like karaoke with a live band plus the band performs songs in between. They take the time out to learn the music to the song you want to perform. Basic Truth is a soulful, artistically talented, group of local musicians with a power house lead lady singer. “I used Chili's To Go, the staff were very courteous and friendly. I walked in and placed my order for chips and skillet queso because it's Amazing. I literally waited 5 minutes and the female employee working the To Go station brought me my bag and I was on my way. and the chips they serve at Chili's are also addicting and they give you way more than you would ever need and the bag they come in can also be reheated in the microwave. I eat them just like they were regular potatoe chips.“
