“OK I don’t rave about places often, but Winchester Pub and Grill is on point! Yes, it’s a pub / grill and the food is humble, a tiny bit pricey, but man is it worth it! We went in for lunch and had the smoked bacon wrapped peppers, two drinks, I had the shaved ribeye with onion rings (SOOOOO many onion rings!), my husband had the 12-piece wings (way bigger than Wingstop wings) with sweet potato waffle fries. The bill was around $55 for all of it. I have never had a "ribeye" sandwich before that was really ribeye, but this was! so tender and juicy and not chewy or grizzly at all! I could only eat half of it; it was so big! We both brought enough food home for dinner too! This thing was over 8 inches long. We are from Buffalo NY and my husband said the "buffalo wings" were spot on. The smoked bacon wrapped peppers? OMG sooooooo good! THICK slices of bacon, you could taste the smoke and even with the generous sized pepper the bacon covered the whole thing. I scarfed them down so fast I got the picture after I had already eaten a few lol. The only tiny issue I had was the onion rings and waffle fries were cooked just a tad browner than I like them but it was no real biggie. All in all, great food, prices were good for the value they give, and the owner is a wonderful lady who dotes on you the whole time you are there! GO!!!“

Friendly bartenders will make you whatever drink you want to drink with the ingredients they have in stock. So, don't be afraid to ask. No food, just drinks! Live music and Karaoke every now and then. Come and check them out!“

“I had the plain burger fully loaded with all the usual vegetables & condiments. There is quite a variety of buns and options for the burgers. Also had the sweet potatoes fries. All good reasonable price. Service was fine atmosphere is like a large diner. I would comeback and bring friends and family.“

“I was told about this place several weeks ago and finally got the chance to visit. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The salsa and chips were a very good start. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of food in each serving. It is definitely a restaurant that I will enjoy visiting again soon. One is coming to Brownwood, and hopefully it will be as good as the one in Abilene.“

“Best part of the visit was our waitress Jaden (or Jade), she was awesome. She was very attentive to us and made the experience worth coming back. The enchiladas were good. The fajitas weren’t the best, but weren’t the worst. The churros were good.“

“These employees here are some of the most positive, cheerful people on the planet. I can’t believe how positive this group is here. Everyone I talked to was just such great energy and just all around happy. Things you do not see at all much these days with people anywhere you go. Will be back for sure. “I think the servers name was Kayshawn We’ve been dining here for over 10 years. He has got to be the absolute best server we’ve ever had. Along with training a newbie , he was polite to her while training and still doing his thing. He’s management material without a doubt.“
