“If you are looking for delicious Mexican food, this is it! There are a variety of menu options. I had some delicious fish tacos, rice and beans. It reminded me of the traditional fish tacos I'd had in Mexico. Chips and salsa are self-serve. The food is authentic. We really enjoyed it!“

“This post is about a month past due. We're new to Abilene, so we've driven by this place never stopped. My son wants me to join him for a late lunch(1-2p). We decided to stop last min, 15min before closing, they close at 2p. The lady that happened to be outside invited us in, sat us at a table and brought out fresh chips and salsa. We ordered our food, it was nice and hot and fresh. The staff were all polite. Most places would have been rude and rushing us out the door since they were closing. Not here. The staff can out with their food say at a table and enjoyed their food must like we were. Very grateful for the awesome attitude they had well late customers. Give them a chance.“

“We ate here earlier this evening, and the food was very good, and the staff were very helpful with my mother being handicapped and the rain was heavy so they immediately brought a towel to shield my mom from the rain. Thanks for everything my mom loves the enchiladas.“

“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.“

There are very limited healthy options, I'm not super upset over this except when I'm with those who want to eat here I can't eat with them. “We had one of the best dining experiences in recent memory at El Feniz Abilene on Saturday, 9/14/24. Brit is one of THE BEST servers we have ever had...she brings so much joy, life, knowledge of the restaurant and food as well such a kind and caring demeanor to her work. The service was excellent and the food was so delicious. The restaurant is authentic and very clean and you have that nostalgic feel of the Abilene of days gone by. We highly recommend El Fenix Abilene and will be returning many times!“

“Friendly hostess, seated immediately, waiter Brandon acknowledged us right away, brought our chips and salsa and delicious Chuy’s dip. Got our food very quickly and it was top-notch. Brandon provided excellent service throughout our meal. Pleasantly surprised when we got the check. We got a LOT of food for a great price, plus they give a military discount. Overall positive experience and enjoyable atmosphere. We will be back soon!“

“I was told about this place several weeks ago and finally got the chance to visit. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The salsa and chips were a very good start. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of food in each serving. It is definitely a restaurant that I will enjoy visiting again soon. One is coming to Brownwood, and hopefully it will be as good as the one in Abilene.“
