“Soft, Fresh, Hot Flour Tortillas sold by the pack! I buy a pack every visit. The Beef Fajita Burrito with their Salsa Verde (green) is my favorite. Today I added a Puffy Taco with ground beef. Tasty! Counter Service and normally eat inside. C19 precautions so we ate in our truck. This Fort Worth Girl loves La Pops every time I am in town.“

“I usually just stop in for their breakfast but this weekend decided to try their lunch. Sure glad we did. It was great! Everything had good flavor, it was served hot and ready to eat and the portion size was good for the price. Definitely will be one of my to go places.“

“I’m blown away by service - you were so kind to me and explained everything (first time here)! And the Baja shrimp and fried avocado tacos and half order chips&queso was all extremely delightful.
Music playing created a great atmosphere: Black Pumas, Swimmimg Tapes, Weezer, Coldplay, Harry Styles “Grapejuice”., Elephanr Castle, Tkay Maidza.

“1st time there, loved it so sad they aren’t open on Sunday as we would have gone back again. Sadly leaving Monday. What a great building and nice patio out front. A little too chilly to eat outside. We ordered the 2 tacos to share comes with sides of corn or beans or rice. We got all three and each of us picked our own taco. We also shared the sopapillas for dessert. What a delight for it all!!! I left stuffed. The flavors were amazing, hats off to the chef.“

“We have been in El Chico a few times. The last 2 times going in, we had a waitress named Jacque. She just turned 17 but she has a work ethic of any grown up I know. She has great customer service and takes care of her customers. She is always smiling and brings laughter to your table. If you are wanting good Mexican food and great service, go see Jacque at El Chico in the Mall. Once again, thanks Jacque for being such a great worker. Shawn Kirkland.“

“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.“

“So I went to taco Bueno this week after going last week and my gosh, their prices have jumped considerably! The food was good enough. had a bean burrito, a taco and a cheesecake chimi. The price of the chimi is outrageous! It jumped from $1.49 to $2.89. Look how tiny this thing is. it’s crazy expensive!“

“Was driving by when I stopped on a whim. Man at counter wouldn’t respond when I asked questions in English or in Spanish. I ordered the Pupusa plate and a small fountain drink and was charged $16. There were no prices anywhere and I didn’t think to google their menu. Afterwards I discovered I was overcharged. The pupusas had texture of wet sand, couldn’t pick them up. Beans had weird spoiled taste. Rice was very bland. Very disappointed. Will not return.“
