Restaurantji unveils Cisco's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“We were driving on I20 around noon. I searched Yelp for something nearby and the menu pics for La Finca looked appetizing. I ordered beef fajita enchiladas and wasn't disappointed. My partner order the special of the day, an enchilada plate. He enjoyed his meal, too. The service, food and price was perfect. We plan to stop there next time we pass through.“
“I asked Veronica what dish they were known for. The El Molcajete has darn near everything but the kitchen sink and is big enough for 2 big eaters. Served up in a big hot rock bowl keeps your food steaming hot to the last bite. So-so good. ¡Muy delicioso! Their fresh tortillas and salsa were also a big treat.“
“Little disappointed. I grew up in South Texas, so I have a fairly experienced opinion with Authentic Mexican food. Ordered 2 Menudo, to go. Tripe was tender, flavor was fair. Each cup, 32 oz, had two large pork bones about the size of golf balls. (At least they used pig feet). Not being able to eat bone, there presence significantly reduced the amount of edible ingredients. All the yrs of eating Menudo, this was the first time I had Menudo that didn't have hominy. Lady that took my order was really pleasant and professional.“
