“If you haven't tried this place, you are missing out. My wife and I came in for breakfast and it was so delicious, we went back for dinner. The breakfast burrito was a large size, but was impressed me was how much was stuffed into it. My wife had the Chilaquilles with the red sauce and she said it was the right amount of spice and the chorizo added extra depth of flavor.Dinner we both got the fajitas and honestly, it was so much food, we could have shared. Great queso, salsa, and drinks so it was perfect food day for us. Definitely recommended to several people since then.“
“Always get the best service and see old friends I used to work with. The wait Staff, cooks are top notch and the owner is not scared to work. Very nice man. Food is always awesome. I always say I would like to have one of everything ❣️Vegetarian options: The spinach enchiladas are AWESOMEDietary restrictions: I have none when I go there!Parking: Trust me they have more than enough.Kid-friendliness: They interact w/them and if the kids are old enough they ask them one on one what they want. I consider that to be AWESOME as it is teaching our children that decision are important ❣️“
“If you've ever been to Taco Casa, then you know. This is exactly how it should be. Service is adequate food is exactly what it should be like. And they atmosphere is exactly what has come to be expected. It hasn't changed much since it's incarnation. The food is the same. You get what you pay for. It's not a disappointment. Consistency is key. Ever since Taco Casa kept it real by splitting off of the major chain, they have kept it true; and this place is no exception.Vegetarian options: Just get it without meat or cheese.Kid-friendliness: They let you bring the kids in, but be sure you collect them when you leave. No one wants to deal with your semen demons.“
“They have the best breakfast burritos and they’re HUGE, this is my favorite place to go for burritos and you can get a breakfast burrito any time of day which is great, they’re very quick to get your food to you as well… their salsa verde is a must “
“The BEST food around Stephenville. I ALWAYS get my Breakfast burritos there.Their salsas are amazing, their burritos are very big and the tortillas are perfect. They fill every bite with all food items. Some places will throw a strip or slice of cheese so the proportions are off. Here it's all mixed together so every bite is delicious. Their lunch items are soooo good. The best!!“
“Terrific and unexpected find driving back from Dinosaur Valley State Park. The chicken with green sauce hit the spot. The atmosphere reminds me of my favorite restaurant in Morelia, Mich, Mexico. Service with a smile and FRESH dishes. This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant find in years. 20 stars! Wow!“
“We went here during the rush on a Friday night after a soccer game and were thoroughly impressed with the service. The food was amazing. I loved that each of us got a salsa bowl instead of having to share. I got the tres amigos enchiladas and they were all three so good, but the chicken with sour cream sauce was amazing. I thought the atmosphere would be rowdy in a college town on a Friday evening, but even though it was crowded, it wasn’t rowdy. 100% recommend“
“I just gotta say that Evie is probably the best waitress/server I've had in a while. My drink was never empty, and the service was great. I had "Create Your Own" 2 tacos, rice, beans & cheese enchiladas. It was pretty damn good. Complimentary chips & salsa, price was fairly decent $20.00. I will definitely be back.“
“Azteca catered my son and daughter in law’s wedding in Granbury. It was fajitas with all the fixings. It was delicious!! Many, including myself, said it was the best beef fajitas we’ve ever had. The servers were courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend Azteca for your catering needs or to dine in. I can’t wait to go through Stephenville on my way from San Angelo to Granbury to visit my son’s family so I can stop and eat at Azteca.“
“Probably the best food truck in town. Awesome prices for honestly amazing food, especially food coming from a "truck". The owners of this "truck" are awesome people that know how to whip up good food. I frequent the enchilada plate during lunch time, or burritos during breakfast. Everything they serve up is always fresh, even down to the toppings that they put in/on the food, it's pretty amazing. Even better? SO reasonably priced for a decent portion. Wait, want another selling point? You can even call/text them your order and they'll get back with you/start making it.... you just can't beat it! Always a solid recommendation!“
“I've been a loyal patron of Peacocks since I was in diapers! It's had a facelift and a name change since then, but the fantastic food and stellar service have always been a constant. Breakfast here is my jam--I'm usually all about their two-egg special with home fries and toast. But on days when my stomach's singing opera, I swap the spuds and bread for a couple of hefty pancakes, and boy, does that hit the spot! My girlfriend swears by their jalapeño burgers, claiming they're the town's crown jewels. Sure, the place can get packed, and when it does, time seems to slow down, courtesy of their cozy-sized kitchen. But patience is a virtue, especially when their breakfast is on the line--it's worth the culinary countdown! I'm not the biggest fan of their burgers or chicken fried steak--I've got my own go-to spots for those. But when it comes to breakfast, Peacocks struts right into my top three with ease! I'd definitely give Peacocks two thumbs up! Just a friendly reminder: this isn't your run-of-the-mill fast food joint. Everything's cooked when you order, so good things come to those who wait. And oh, their coffee? Simply divine! It pairs perfectly with their biscuits and gravy, which I absolutely adore as well. Trust me, it's a taste bud fiesta you don't want to miss! Wrapping it up, I've got just a couple of tiny gripes. First, I'd love it if they upgraded their syrup game--something like Log Cabin or, dare I dream, real maple syrup. And as my dad famously grumbles during our pancake rendezvous, "There's no future in putting cold syrup on hot pancakes!"“
“This is one of my family's favorite places to eat. Clean, Helpful and friendly service. Everything is made fresh and very reliable priced. My husband loves their stuffed burrito ?.. They have a go size kids burrito also. The girls love ? them. One of the best little Mexican food around. ?“
“We had some time before our Campus Visit just down the street at Tarleton State University! The restaurant vibe is very colorful and energetic. Everyone was very attentive and polite. There is a lunch menu and a larger regular menu - something for everyone. We split a single order of chicken fajitas - they were really good, and we couldn't finish them. I'll mention that they have a lot of pieces (not quite shredded). My daughter doesn't even the veggies - picks the chicken - so it makes it hard to do that - but it's fine for an adult ;) We also had enchiladas, flan, and sopapilla. Loved the homemade chips!!We were SO full - we should have eaten here AFTER the campus tour ;)We would eat here again if we were in the area!!“
