I took a disabled friend to this location, who is wheelchair bound. It was extremely difficult to get through the entrance with a wheelchair. They really need to address that problem.
If you find yourself in Stephenville on Sunday morning (or anytime) and in need of a sit-down meal, The Peacock (established 1973) will do, especially if you have a softspot for classic American roadside diners. It's open 24/7 and serves a typical diner breakfast at all hours. The nostalgia factor is high here, with all vintage hallmarks intact, from the retro signage to the vinyl booths to the motel-adjacent location. I've been a loyal patron of Peacocks since I was in diapers! It's had a facelift and a name change since then, but the fantastic food and stellar service have always been a constant.
