“The food excellent. Large portions. You will surely take food home. The price is somewhat high. The meat is fantastic. The place was clean. The reservation as we requested. And it is well located. Good variety of wines. Although in the area beer is king.“
“Dang, this was good. I ordered to go. My wife got the caso burger with sweet potato fries. I got the spicy grilled chicken sandwich with the same side. Man, this was good! I had a draft beer in a frosted mug while I waited. The mug was so frozen that ice was floating in my beer. “
“Stopped in for a late lunch today and absolutely loved it! This was the first time we have been here and we will be back. Great atmosphere from the jump when you walk in under the "enter here" sign. You walk under covered pits rolling smoking goodness that will make your taste buds come alive before the food hits your mouth. You stand pitside and pick out your favs. They weigh, scan, and slide you a tray, you then walk inside to more friendly faces and select your vegetables, condiments, and desserts. The wildlife mounted decor accentuated the rustic lighting fixtures. Lots of large screen TV's gave you a view of all available sporting events airing during your visits time frame. ⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐and ??. This is a must visit eating adventure for everyone.“
“We almost didn't go due to some of the reviews, but sometimes bad reviews are because of disgruntled employees. I'm glad we went, we sat at counter due to it being so busy and I was amazed at how the cooks handled the amount of orders they had. Yes it took 40 minutes for food to get to us but it was a packed Sunday morn. The Western omelet was delicious and filled with veggies and ham. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town.“
“Good:1. Good Food2. Good ServiceThis experience was much better than last experience. I showed up alone and got seated quickly in the bar section. The waitress was very attentive and quick to get refills. The chips and salsa were very good and not stale like the other chilies restaurants I have been to lately so that was great. I ordered a medium rare sirloin with fries. The steak was cooked amazingly, and it tasted great, the fries were pretty good as well.(Flash into the past) 1 year ago(I went to this location last year with some friends when one of the waiters was very rude and aggressive with us. He wouldn’t refill our drinks or get us anything without us asking, and when we asked he gave attitude and wouldn’t come back for a while. We would then ask again when he comes back to the point we got up and asked another person for our stuff. Our waiter was rude and threw our to go boxes and other things on the table without a care for where they landed. It was one of the worst experiences we had in a restaurant.)“
“Great food great ppl great atmosphere. We have been going here for several years. The owner always says hi and greets everyone. Staff is kind and attentive checking on customers, cleaning tables, and making sure everyone has all they need. The food is fresh tastes great and has tons of flavor. They also offer lots of extra options. Love when they do love music right out front off the square. Highly recommend!“
“First time here. We traveled from Granbury to Stephenville for two things. To look at the Bluebonnets and come to Greers for some home cooking. We ordered, roast, ribeye, and chicken fried steak. We came in between lunch and supper. The food came so fast we didn't have an opportunity to eat our salads. The roast was very good! Tender with good gravy. The CFS was good. However, it needed more seasonings. The gravy was good. The Mac and cheese was the star of this plate!! Awesome!! The green beans... not so much. The rib eye wasn't the favorite.HOWEVER!! THE PEACH COBBLER WAS THE BOMB.We would come back. If for no other reason than to get the cobbler!!Great location. Historic downtown. Lots of history in this place! Original floors and beams. Now for the not so good news. The salt and pepper shakers are filthy. Also, the sides of the tables are also really nasty. Please deep clean the shakers and the tables, and I'd give a rating of 5 no problems.“
