A friend and I live out of the area so we met at The Purple Goat; we found it on Google maps. The atmosphere was outstanding; also clean restrooms. Interesting menu, very enticing the reason we chose the restaurant. The food overall was bland but tasted ok. Pictures below. We will try it again but there will be different food choices next time. The wait staff was super. Overall 4 stars because of bland food.
Food was really good. Menu is a bit confusing. When you order a chicken fried steak it comes with two regular sides or one premium side. Was charged $1.99 for onion rings which is listed under regular sides. When asked they show you that onion rings does say they will cost extra with meal. I assumed since chicken fried steak said get two regular sides that the extra might have been on some other item on menu. Why not just put onion rings on the premium sides and not get charged.
