I've been a fan for over six years now but will not be going back. I went today there were at least six craft beers they were out of including my favorite. I tried a different IPA by 6666 and it was barely passable. When I got my check the beer was $8.75 for a pint!!!! I asked my server if all the beers tap beers were $8.75 and she said it was just the craft beers. I travel extensively and have never paid that much for any beer (except at Texas Motor Speedway) that had less than a 9% ABV. This beer is listed as 4.8% making it a session IPA....hardly worth $8.75.

Burger and onion rings were really good. Cheese sticks are not hand breaded like the waiter stated. They are just the frozen ones out of the box hence the 4 star rating.

The food tastes like everything is fried in the same oil. It's a good place to go for drinks. That's about it. Service is always great though!

My four year old said, “Mom! This playground is even cooler than Chick-fil-A!”Great stop on a road trip for two toddlers to run around and play! The brioche bun and brisket on the BBQ sandwich was amazing. Enjoyed the food a lot, would happily come back again if we’re in the area!Kid-friendliness: Great big play area out back!
Went for lunch on a Saturday. The food was great, good temperature and presentation a huge portion enough to share. Recommend the bread pudding for dessert.

A friend and I live out of the area so we met at The Purple Goat; we found it on Google maps. The atmosphere was outstanding; also clean restrooms. Interesting menu, very enticing the reason we chose the restaurant. The food overall was bland but tasted ok. Pictures below. We will try it again but there will be different food choices next time. The wait staff was super. Overall 4 stars because of bland food.
Food was really good. Menu is a bit confusing. When you order a chicken fried steak it comes with two regular sides or one premium side. Was charged $1.99 for onion rings which is listed under regular sides. When asked they show you that onion rings does say they will cost extra with meal. I assumed since chicken fried steak said get two regular sides that the extra might have been on some other item on menu. Why not just put onion rings on the premium sides and not get charged.

We are in the process of trying all of the restaurants around Stephenville, and have found another favorite. I wasn't really hungry, since we had a big breakfast, so I ordered the brisket salad. Big mistake, it was pretty big and the good brisket went well enough with their jalapeno ranch I finished it all? I did see fried brussel sprouts on the menu, will have to come back and give that a shot. We will be back next time we come up for a visit.
