Fried pickles top tier. My grilled chicken was super dry and over cooked unfortunately.
Montana's has always been well known for its delicious chicken fried steak. That said the full order was $22.00 and some change a half order was 16 so my spouse and I took a good friend and my spouse's Mom the food was quite costly for getting a side of instant mashed potatoes. Most of us did not eat that side but for paying that price I would expect real mashed potatoes. Sadly we will not be returning back to Montana's because of that fact plus no lunch specials. Stopped by Montana Restaurant in Stephenville around 3pm and had a great experience. My waitress was very friendly and made the whole visit easy and welcoming.
The cheddar fries were delicious. Crispy, cheesy, and exactly what I wanted. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked, but the honey mustard stole the show. It is super thick and not too sweet, which made every bite even better.
