“Josefina’s tamales are our favorite by far. Our favorite is the pork, but you really cannot go wrong with any of their flavors or food! The owners are the loveliest people. We had tamales for Thanksgiving and Christmas brunch. We also love to grab lunch.“

“Food at Nares is amazing! Menudo is one of the best I have tasted. Tacos ( all of them ) are great . Tortas are loaded , tasty and delicious. Their service is the best . I have tried almost every Mexican restaurant in Granbury. No one comes close to Nares .. it stands along as the best !! If you’re looking for true Mexican food this is the place .. no need to look anywhere else .. Oh did i mention the chips and salsa?? You need to visit this place!! “Updated interior. Good food. Average service. Plenty of parking. There were a lot of law enforcement officers lunching there the day I visited.

Parking: Located at East end of shopping center so free parking was abundant.

“This is pretty much a regular for us. We were initially drawn in by the free margaritas (yes, free), but this place is our Wednesday haunt. Food is great, but stick to the Tex Mex (enchiladas, rellenos, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas). Their Anerican food is ok.“

“You will not find a more genuine, kind, and attentive staff anywhere. The food is AMAZING. Their red and green sauces are to die for. I've had several of their agua fresca flavors and they have each been delicious. The dessert? ALSO DELICIOUS. The building may not look like much, but the people and food inside are what really matters. Eat here. You won't be disappointed.“

We both ordered chilaquiles verde de pollo con huevos fritos; if you want it to be spicy, simply add the table-top green (salsa verde) or red (salsa roja) salsa. Delicious and so fresh! ?

My husband also ordered two tacos, while I ordered a side of birria quesadillas. The broth was perfect and full of flavour?We ate so much but LOVED every bite.“

Taco Casa are absolutely not all the same.
There’s a taco casa up by 820 and I 30 in Fort Worth and it is great

Now there is a taco casa at I 20 and Hemphill that’s not worth the time for money

So don’t judge each one by the first one you went into they’re all different. There’s no consistency between stores when you find a good one. It’s a great one when you find a bad one there’s no help for it.“
