“Farina’s Winery & Café in Granbury was the absolutely perfect atmosphere for hosting & kicking off our son’s Kelly & his bride Kat’s wedding celebration in style … the beautiful, old-world traditional setting in the Castle Room was marvelous - chandeliers, wooden doors from a French castle, gorgeous armoire and grand piano – truly lovely. The Italian buffet was sumptuous … and the servers - they were exceptional … a special thanks to Mel Madalone for her guidance in the planning, organization, set-up and her wonderful style … an amazing, beautiful evening! “I heard several people recommend this place, so I had to check it out. The Tacos de Pescado (Fish Tacos) are the best I’ve had in a long while. So good in fact, I came back 2 days later to get tacos for the whole family. Second round… Everyone agreed they were delicious! Looking forward to trying the Caldo de Camarón (shrimp soup) next time!”

“Josefina’s tamales are our favorite by far. Our favorite is the pork, but you really cannot go wrong with any of their flavors or food! The owners are the loveliest people. We had tamales for Thanksgiving and Christmas brunch. We also love to grab lunch.”

“This little boba place is so cute and makes such good drinks and food! It was our first time and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted so graciously. The place is so cutely decorated and is pretty open, they have kpop songs playing on the TV which is also really nice because they go through a lot of hits. We ordered brown sugar boba and oolong green milk tea boba, as well as Nutella taiyaki (たい焼き — fish cake). Everything was made so well, so delicious and made pretty speedy too! They wished us a Merry Christmas 🥹 they genuinely are so sweet and I want them to get the traction they deserve, because they TRULY deserve it!!! Please come to this boba place and eat their lovely food and drink their lovely drinks!”

“The burgers, onion rings and frozen margaritas are great but what really made our first visit to Grumps stand out was our warm and friendly welcome and kind-hearted attentiveness by the cashier, Nathan. There are plenty of burger spots in town but what makes a place extra special is when you truly feel cared for. Nathan made our first visit to Grumps a truly lovely experience. Thank you! Will be back for the large frozen margarita next time! :)”

“Happened into this place for the first time last weekend and had a great time! There's a nice big patio out front for when the weather is nice, a dining area by the bar if you want to sit and chat, and a sweet stage in the back room with awesome live music. Food and drink were great- made even better by the fact that every employee served me with a smile. Wish I could get service like that everywhere, but since I can't I'll be back next time I'm in town ( :”

“First visit here and we enjoyed it. The patio is dog friendly and heated although we sat at the far back of patio which was open, uncovered and heated by Mother Nature. It is nice to sit out there and watch the ducks, geese and such float/fly by. You can also buy duck food from the gumball machine if you want to feed the critters. You order and pick up at the counter then if ya have a hankering for fixin's on your burger stop at the condiment/veggie station and load up. I had a 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, onion rings were nice and crisp and they weren't stingy with the nicely cooked bacon. Others at table had Tacos Furioso, unfortunately they were a bit stingy with the chicken on this one, more like a veggie taco, veggies were good but would like to see a bit more chicken. Another had the Buffalo Chicken tacos which were good but noticably short on the yard bird here again. We also had a Bloody Mary and Margarita. The Bloody Mary is very salty, basic and good and the margaritas was pretty basic but good as well Overall good food and drink. I do have one recommendation, dog friendly space is awesome but what if you had options available for your furry companion? Water bowls for instance, doggie menu with a basic chicken breast, hamburger or hot dog. I know we would always order from that! We will come back!”

“Stopped in the Chocolate Moose Cakery wanting single slices of cheesecake. They had several flavors including Chocolate Peppermint which was perfect for the time of year. Probably the best cheesecake my wife and I ever had. Even had a special buy 2 get 1 free. What a deal. Very nice little shop with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!”

“I have been a frequent customer at Dana’s for a few years now. My wife and I love her teas and our boys love her shakes. Dana has also told me about the body scans she provides for free to her customers. I can say from experience this provides invaluable insight and motivation in your getting healthy journey. It does not solely focus on weight but provides a complete break down as you can clearly see your progress in losing fat and gaining muscle. It’s a truly supportive perk that helps you stay on track with your health goals!”

“Food at Nares is amazing! Menudo is one of the best I have tasted. Tacos ( all of them ) are great . Tortas are loaded , tasty and delicious. Their service is the best . I have tried almost every Mexican restaurant in Granbury. No one comes close to Nares .. it stands along as the best !! If you’re looking for true Mexican food this is the place .. no need to look anywhere else .. Oh did i mention the chips and salsa?? You need to visit this place!! Thank you Nares for your Awesome Service !!!”

“Excellent service. My wife and I both ordered the fried catfish. We each got 4 large filets. The sides were excellent. They included Cole slaw, onion rings and fried okra. The catfish was perfection. This ranks as one of my favorite restaurants!”

“Due to a loss in our family around Thanksgiving in 2024, we had purchased The Local’s Thanksgiving meal to keep the season easy. It was so good, we decided it would be our tradition going forward. It made our holiday very easy to manage this year again, giving us time back to enjoy with our out of town family as well as last minute large work projects that had to be done. “Nice employees, clean location, easy access to online order and great pizza. This is not an eat-in restaurant. Our pizzas usually cook well except for the very center. We usually order thin crust large or family size and cook at 425 for about 13 minutes. It’s still delicious, just not crispy in the center. Cooking on a pizza stone would fix this issue if you have one.”

“We honestly hadn't been in awhile because the service was slow. We went in today and the burgers were so large and delicious! My mushroom and Swiss was outstanding. The amount of fries was a little skimpy, but they were delicious too. Great food. We will be back soon!❤”

“Let me start by saying, it's a donut shop. Nobody expects donut shops to be the best place you've ever been to eat. That being said, this shop is quite amazing. The choices available are fairly broad, they get quite a bit of business so choose when you stop in wisely as near closing they may not have as much to choose from. However I have never been let down by the quality of the food, the pastry's are outstanding. I do enjoy a pig in a blanket from time to time as well, they are rather good. The people who run the shop are really friendly and courteous as well. I would recommend this to anyone who wants donut shop style food during the hours of operations. If you are just passing through sometime and you think of getting something quick to eat. You don't get much quicker than donut shops, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it!

Parking: It is a shared parking lot with a few other businesses. I have never struggled to find parking at this location!”

“I vibed with the sweet young lady who cashiered for me. Super informative and thorough. I appreciate people like her, especially because it was my first time here. The food was great. They don't have normal sweet tea, but they have amazing peach tea that's sweet. Oh, I will say I needed a sauce for my Philly cheese sub because I'm a saucy kind of girl, but otherwise it was delicious. I even got a brownie and that was a 10/10 for me! Soooo good! ? My coworkers enjoyed their food too. One got the same thing I did and the other got a calzone.

Kid-friendliness: I saw on the way to the restroom that they had really good high chairs that have the fabric padding and everything. I thought that was super sweet.”

“Just had an amazing dinner at El Chico Cafe and we’re still smiling about it! I ordered the El Caballero — rich, bold, and absolutely delicious. My wife went with the Chicken Mushroom Enchiladas, and they were creamy, savory, and perfectly balanced. Even the chips and salsa were top-notch — fresh, crispy chips and salsa with just the right kick. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!”

“We have had lunch there several times and never been disappointed. The Palio's vegetable pizza is my favorite, along with a small Greek salad---heaven! Cheesecake to finish it off. I could eat there every day. My only complaint? Parking...but parking lots in Granbury weren't thought-out very well, so I don't hold this against them. If there were stars, I would give them a solid five stars.”

“This place is absolutely outstanding. The food fabulous, the staff amazing. The atmosphere, beautiful, the chefs went above and beyond for me. They do not have crepes on the menu, but he made some specifically for me. And it is the most delicious crepe I've ever had. 20 out of 10.”

“Food was delicious. Though please be careful when labeling the foods. Mine was labeled incorrectly and ate bacon before I noticed it wasn’t sausage. My husband has a dairy intolerance and ate cheese before knowing. Luckily it’s not a full blown allergy. Food was dropped off for us so we couldn’t just switch. But this is the first time it’s happened, out of a good few orders. Pork and dairy are ingredients you don’t want to serve to the wrong person.”

I will say the staff doesn't interact as much but I'm fine with a thank you and have a good day, especially when I'm already tired. my only complaint is that on a drink that costs $6.50 I shouldn't be missing an inch of the drink. It's not every time, but I've probably paid for 3 or more drinks I haven't received, since moving to town and today is one of them.”

We had egg rolls & spring rolls. They were fine. Piping hot and crispy. Also ordered Thai chicken & hunan prawns. The chicken was tender and the sauce was spicy but too spicy.
