“Found this gem yesterday when we happened in Granbury, TX. Friend and I got a mix of pulled pork, brisket, and bologna with potato salad and beans. Everything was AMAZING and the couple there was super nice. I’ve eaten BBQ from all over (including Memphis, St. Louis, and Kansas City) and this was one of the best BBQ places I’ve ever eaten at! HIGHLY recommend!“
“This place was great. There is plenty of parking, the establishment is nice and clean. A comfortable atmosphere. You can dine inside or outside and enjoy the beautiful lake view. The service was friendly enough. It did take awhile to get our food, and the temperature was alright. I ordered the armadillo eggs, which were amazing and the smokehouse cheddar burger, which again was amazing. Both were cooked perfectly and the side of fries were fresh cut and nicely seasoned. My husband ordered chopped brisket and sausage. Both were okay, but if you're the type that prefers a little char and smoke ring, this isn't that. My son had the chicken fried steak. Gravy was perfect, but the chicken fried steak was more on the chewy side. Overall it's a wonderful place and I will definitely be back! As far as price, it's about average, not cheap but not outrageous either. So take the family, go for a date night or day or just go for yourself! You'll leave with a full belly and a smile!“
“Had the Sister Special and Turkey /Sausage Gumbo. The sandwich was delicious. Dill sauce and Turkey was very tasty; roll that sandwich was on was delicious!Gumbo was also great!Owner gave us a sample of potato salad and pinto beans. “Best BBQ in Granbury by far! James and his staff to a wonderful job of providing great food AND entertainment at this great little gem. Monica mixes phenomenal Peanut Butter Cup martinis and Orange Dreamsicle martinis at the bar. But the food.... oh yeah....they have the best brisket, ribs and calf fries EVER!“
