Happened to be in town to see relatives and tried this restaurant. It was SO great! Try their signature sandwich, Sister Sandwich. It was heavenly. The homemade beans were an excellent side. Also enjoyed a Mexican Coca-cola. Perfect lunch! The owners were very welcoming and attentive! It’s in a cute old Sinclair has station, very close to the downtown square.
This place never disappoints. You can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches. The jalapeño buns are fabulous! Dine in for that retro feel roadside diner, or if you prefer fast take out, go that route as well.

Had the Sister Special and Turkey /Sausage Gumbo. The sandwich was delicious. Dill sauce and Turkey was very tasty; roll that sandwich was on was delicious!Gumbo was also great!Owner gave us a sample of potato salad and pinto beans.
