“About 40 of us showed up at Hickory Tree Grill around 6:30 on a Saturday night to celebrate a football win. The entire staff were so accommodating and friendly. We only had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes to be seated. This was a combination of parents and boys ages 11-12 along with a couple of toddlers. The entire staff were so professional and never acted like we were an inconvenience. Everyone’s drinks were kept full and food was served quickly. The food was great!! Wanted to give a special shout out and thank you to Angie the shift manager, she was awesome! We will definitely go back but probably not with 40 people at one time😊“

“Mr. Calhoun catered our family gathering in Grand Prairie, and the food was incredible! The ribs were tender, the chicken wings were full of flavor, and the brisket was perfectly cooked. Everyone, including our family visiting from out of town, kept talking about how delicious everything was. Highly recommend his cooking for any special event!“

“My first time there and let me tell you. The service was great. She explained what they had and how they cook it. Good selection of food. The place was very clean and inviting. Little cheesy on the Korean dance videos but funny. I was very impressed in the food. Delicious and hot with a variety of sauce to choose from for toppings. Cute take home bowls. Loved it. “Went today 8/12 board outside said the chopped brisket is $10.99 per half pound. Making it 21.98 per pound ... I ordered 1.5 lbs. Was caught off guard when it came time to pay, but on the way home was thinking Wait. Why was it over $47 !!! Looked at the reciept and was charged nearly $28 a lb. Even with tax that makes no sense. Not sure what to do I just felt bad and let it go. But in this economy to be charged over $10 more than expected really was upsetting. Am unemployed, had saved up to get this as a special treat for my familys dinner. We love Rudys, but will probably think twice before risking another order. Don't be like me, if the price charged seems off, ask about it. It was just $10 bucks or so over but for my family that truly is alot right now. Please update your board outside so no one else gets hit with an unexpected expense while just trying to feed a family.“
