“Every last Tuesday of each month Soulman's BBQ is celebrating their 50th anniversary by offering a special deal that day only. This is a dine-in special valid at all locations. I visited the Hurst location and today's anniversary deal is a chopped beef sandwich with 2 sides for $3.99. Only the first 74 customers ('74 is the year they started) can get this deal. I called the Hurst location around 2:30, to see if the deal was still available. I was told there were about 30 deals left, I went and claimed mine at 3:30. My wife didn't want this offering, she only wanted a order of 2 add-on ribs. They actually gave her 3 and one was a burnt end. I feel like this is a great deal, especially since the food all tastes good. Here's my $3.99 deal, I did add the cheese myself, I got fried cabbage and Texas cream style corn as sides. The spicy BBQ sauce is actually spicy and the cream corn has a little kick.“
“Food & service were both great. Huge sweet potatoes. The seat in our booth looked like it should have been replaced years ago though. Seat cover was all cracked & torn up. Didn't fit the nice image the rest of the place projected at all.“
“Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I tried the brisket platter and thought the brisket itself was very okay. Without sauce the flavor is fairly underwhelming. As far as sides went I had the Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. The Mac was bland and needed extra salt and pepper pretty badly, but the sweet potatoes were good.Overall not a bad spot. If you wanna support a local business, give it a shot.“
“We decided we wanted BBQ served at our reception dinner following our wedding and we are so happy we went with Patriotic Pig. They served brisket, sausage, and smoked chicken breast with mac&cheese, burnt-end beans, bacon green beans, bacon ranch potato salad, and coleslaw. All the food was delicious and all the guests were raving about the food.We also had appetizers served during cocktail hour. They served street tacos, brisket and pulled pork sliders, and Texas tater skins, all were a big hit with us and our guests! It was the perfect amount of food to keep our guests happy until dinner was served. We also opted for a dessert bar that featured Uncle Willie's pies which were absolutely delicious. My husband and I had a sampling of the pies for breakfast the day after our wedding and they were absolutely delicious!“
“We just left the Meals on Wheels fundraiser where you generously support year after year. We are so thankful for your unending support and all you do for the local community. Everything you do for the community does not go unnoticed. Thank you!“
“This was some of the best BBQ that I've had. The smoky flavor, The Juiciness, The Tenderness was exceptional. The Bark on the Ribs and Brisket was Perfect! The sausage was great with some spicy flavor. The Mac and Cheese definitely was a hit. I would not recommend the Cabbage. Not sure if it was an off day but it was really Bland. It. Lacked any hint of flavor.“
“I’ve been going for 2 years and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The ingredients are super fresh, the portion sizes are huge so you’re getting your moneys worth, and everything is delicious. You’re missing out if you don’t come here me and my girlfriends favorite place to eat!“
“The restaurant is clean and bright with fast, friendly service. The food was delicious. I wish I would have gotten a picture but I was too busy enjoying the meal. I ordered the lean brisket pho and was pleased to see that they offer a kids pho portion. My 5 year old loves pho and this was the perfect serving size. We also ordered the chicken bahn mi. It was super flavorful! Would definitely recommend checking this place out.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids portion of pho which I’ve never seen at a pho restaurant before.“
“Ribs are amazing! Better than I can make at home. Make sure to get a couple. Jalepeno sausage is also great. Brisket was good and burnt ends (only available on Sat and Mon) could have been hotter (temp wise). Green beans were our preferred side. Very flavorful.“
“Everything is homemade. Even the bread and pickles are homemade from my understanding. Our favorites for meat are burnt ends and pulled pork. For sides, our favorites are Elote Corn, Onion Rings, and everyone's favorite Mac n Cheese. We saw the chef there today.“
“To me, David’s Barbecue is the best anywhere. My nephew and I were there recently and heard a man at another table say he lived about 30 mi. away, but the BBQ was so good and the portions so unbelievably generous, he was going to come back, in spite of not living anywhere nearby. My nephew and I just smiled and told the man, “It’s always that way.”“
“First time visitor and the food was fantastic. Brisket was tender and flavorful, ribs were tender and bbq sauce reminds me of KC. The only downside was I didn't like the jalapeño cheese sausage. appeared to be big chunks of cheese.it did not reheat well and greasy. It is outside so be prepared to stand in line. I will definitely add it to my list of acceptable bbq places.“
“2nd time here and will be coming more! The prices are great, the food is great and the people are really nice. I was eyeing the cookies and one of the employees even let me try their pecan sandy cookie and it had the right amount of sweetness ??“
“Their meat stands alone, which, for BBQ in Texas, is not something you find very frequently. (Most places I've visited as a BBQ lover, they hide the dryness of their meat with sauce.) The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and the employees are good-hearted people.“
“It was great. The place is a lot of fun. Make sure to ask for your peanuts. And the hot sweet bread / buns are out of this world. Try the steamed broccoliParking: After 5 pm there is plenty of parking at bank. Restaurant is always busy due to nearby hotels.“
“We had lunch here. I ordered the Fish and Chips and substituted a salad for the chips. The salad was fantastic! Avocado, almonds, cherry tomatoes all in a delicious citrus vinaigrette. My son had the French dip sandwich, which came on a specialty bread, and was served like sliders with a jus. It is a blend of sirloin and prime rib. He said it was awesome! The server was friendly and took the time to describe the food and answer our questions. We would definitely return.“
“Hidden gem alert! This Dickies Barbecue Pit is a true find that is tucked away near the major attractions of Arlington. While the location may be a bit hidden, let me tell you – it's absolutely worth the search! Now, let's talk about the food – oh, the food! The sliced brisket was nothing short of amazing. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, each bite melted in my mouth! It's evident that this location takes great pride in their barbecue, and it truly shows in every slice of brisket they serve. And let's not forget about the toast – it was just perfect. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with just the right amount of butter. It complemented the brisket beautifully and added a delightful crunch to every bite.Overall, This location exceeded my expectations. Delicious food, fantastic service, and a charming ambiance – what more could you ask for?“
“This place is fantastic! The brisket is nice and moist! The sausage has a great smokey flavor with a little jalapeño kick! The burnt ends have all sorts of flavors that render together beautifully! I also sampled a country rib that was amazing aswell! The owner, Todd, is a very nice guy who appreciates your business. Support your local businesses! I'll have to try the ribs next time! Check this place out. It won't disappoint!“
“Excellent BBQ with fried catfish for Lent. I forgot to ask if catfish was year round.... Nicest staff with natural smiles, we had fun talking to them. We asked for suggestions and took his advice, it was excellent brisket and ribs on my 2 meat plate. Very clean establishment. We'll be back for more !!!!“
“I liked it a lot actually! The only reason I left 4 stars was just because I felt there wasn't enough food for the price. Still the food was pretty dang good!Parking: There's only about 7 or so spots and it's right on the road so you're parking immediately.“
“Great homemade food and service! The food is very fresh and made at the restaurant, not a fast food chain! We had the garlic shrimp bowl and it was very flavorful. The spicy corn ribs were outstanding! Definitely recommend and will be back!“
“Absolutely incredible food! The sambusas are to die for. Goat plate is the G.O.A.T passionfruit drink is insanely good. The "little secret" martini was amazing. Great place to stop by for something new and leave with a new favorite restaurant. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is great and very inviting! Definitely come try this place out.“
“Food is excellent and staff is friendly.. I really like this place. The pulled pork isn't soaked in sugar so you can actually taste how flavorful the pork is. The brisket is really good as well, has great bark. Lastly, you've got to get the cobbler.. just do “
“I wasn't prepared to like this place but it turned out to be pretty decent after all.We went with some friends from church here and it is a great place for a hungry church crowd. You go through a buffet style liner and pick out what you want. I ordered the Stuffer which was a baked potato loaded with chopped brisket. They definitely loaded it up and it was almost more than I could eat. I enjoyed it and it paired well with some great sweet tea. The brisket probably won't win any awards but it's better than most places like this.I would definitely go back but it's not a place I would put on my foodie list.“
“If you are from the Chicago area, especially the south and west sides, you know rib tips. If you have moved to another part of the country you have felt the pain of not being able to find them. Eddie Jr's is the real thing, I'll be a regular customer.“
“There are only a handful of Ethiopian restaurants in the metroplex, and I am so glad Arlington is one of those destinations. It's great to see more cultural cuisine represented on this side of the DFW! This plavlce is a must try! They have vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Both are delicious! Customer service is great! They just moved to a larger space as well.“
“I got a sausage plate with coleslaw and mac and cheese. The sausage was really good and I LOVE the bbq sauce!! The coleslaw was original and tasty. I got the mac and cheese based off other reviews on here, but I personally thought it was gross. It tasted like straight Velveeta to me. Still 5 stars for me, though! I will just try a different side next time!“
“Growing up in Arlington, Texas we frequently visited the original Spring Creek location. Yesterday was my grandfather’s 92 birthday and he wanted Spring Creek rolls and barbecue. This Keller location is the closest to them so we met there. Upon entering the facility was organized and clean. Going through the line was as easy as ever and the staff was friendly. The veggies and meats were just how I remembered them. They were fresh, moist, and that signature Spring Creek sauce! The manager at this location Tommy went out of his way to make my grandfather feel special. That was super appreciated by all of us! Definitely worth a stop here if you are in the area!Parking: Plenary of parking out frontKid-friendliness: Perfect for kids“
“The food is fantastic as always. Service is fast and friendly. They have new menus. However, I noticed the plates and serving platters have gotten significantly smaller which means less food. They went from 12" plates to 9" plates combined with such smaller serving platters I feel it gives a false illusion of how much food you're actually getting. Inflation has food prices going up with smaller portions. What I don't like is even if the economy improves the change most likely won't be reversed. Once a business cuts costs it's virtually unheard of to revert back to pre inflation quantities. I still really like the restaurant but wish they kept the same sized plates/platters as before.“
“The BBQ gods smiles on this day. We were driving and looking for a new place to try. I saw this place and even though it is a trailer on the side of the road the smell called to us. We tried the brisket, pork belly, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, brisket-biscut, and peach cobbler. Lets start with the negative. the baked beans were OK, but nothing i would do agian. I had high hopes for the potato salad and was a little let down but it was ok. the place is a little hard to find and there are no tables. However, that did not stop us from eating in our car since we were just traveling through. but if you are doing take-out you most likely don't care. With that out of the way . . . . . . . WOW. The brisket was outstanding juicy, moist, great color, good smoke ring, not super fatty but a good crust on the outside. the rub had a good spice but did not overpower the meat. The ribs were just as good, not "fall of the bone" but you don[t want that, you want a little bit of chew to the meat. They had a good smoke ring and great flavor. The brisket-biscut was crispy cloud stuffed with love. I am glad we only got one to try with our group because they are addicting. he peach cobbler was very good. not super sweet but a nice flavor. I saved the best for last. If you have never had smoked pork belly then you have no idea what you are missing this was outstanding with flavor that is making my mouth water as I type this. If I am am ever back in this area agian I am making a point to come back to this spot.“
“Tried this place for the first time and no wonder they’ve been here for so long! The staff were so friendly, food was very tasty, portions were perfect and the place was inviting and great overall. We got the chopped brisket, my personal favorite was the broccoli casserole and my husbands was the Mac and cheese. The sauces were amazing as well!Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely enough space for anyone and everyone!“
“What could be a great BBQ meal made just average by clearly "out of the can" potato salad and green beans. The fresh, hot perfect rolls are the only reason to go here. Management team is excellent in seeing to an excellent customer experience. They are "hands on" management and set a dynamic work example for the staff.Great atmosphere.Parking: Close to entrance.Kid-friendliness: Family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair and walker access and accommodations.“
“We came to Bodacious BBQ for lunch before Supercross at AT&T Stadium. We love their food and the atmosphere BUT nothing compares to the customer service!! Stacy is a true servant leader! She is beyond sweet, caring, thoughtful and not to mention beautiful!“
“This place is awesome! I’m not big on buffets, but this place is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is so kind and courteous. I really enjoyed eating here. I will be back again! Lunch time during the week is cheaper and less busier than the weekend. This is my new favorite spot! The beef bulgogi is amazing. I had the thin beef brisket, which is great too. I enjoyed everything! And the ginger tea is delicious for the end of our meal.“
“5 stars for ambiance, service and food. So many selections. Food quality is fantastic for an AYCE K-BBQ. Their bulgogi is soft and tender... that bulgogi marinade is banging good! Spicy pork ribs, pork with cheese katsu, japchae, hottok are amazing! I used to only go to Omi but from now on I'm going to Gen for korean BBQ.“
“I can't believe I haven't been here since the new owners bought Sammy's. Sammy's has been a part of our family dining and events since the early 60s. There was nothing better than Sammy's chopped BBQ with thier amazing unrivaled BBQ sauce. Then their fries and rings ...Best on the planet as far as I was concerned. It broke my heart to learn they sold years ago and I had heard they changed all the recipes so we never went back. Well, I could completely kick myself now. I never thought I would say this... BUT...the new owners have seriously taken Sammy's to the next level. BRAVO! Your chopped BBQ just might top the original and just became my favorite. Your Sammy's original BBQ sauce was not quite the original but it actually might be even better too. The onion rings were identical and brought back some great memories of birthday , graduation, and fun family celebrations spent at Sammy's over my life time. There was more people there than I ever saw those last 6 years when the original owners had Sammy's. Five stars all the way around. We had great service too! I need to make up for all these lost years and yes...I'm seriously kicking myself for holding out so long. I travel all over the country and get to try the best BBQ. I am so excited Sammy's is in my city! Will be going back regularly. Yay!“
“Fun place to go see live music. I go to watch my friends dad (Hampsters of Rock) and enjoy it every time! The drinks aren't cheap, but they aren't overpriced either. And the staff is very personable. The food situation isn't ideal. They're never serving any when I go (although they do have a BBQ truck outside). But if you grab a bite before going for a drink and a show, it's a perfect late night activity.“
“We came right before 7 on a Monday. They seemed busy but that didn't affect the service. Our waitress Stephanie was AMAZING. She kept the rolls coming, made sure our glasses were never empty and ensured our food was perfect as ordered. We ordered the catfish platter with loaded steak fries, chicken fritters with a loaded baked potato and 8oz sirloin with the baked potato. Our entrees included side salads and the dressing was thick and creamy...Pause! The top shelf margaritas are super strong as well. Id definitely come back to this location the staff and the vibes is too notch.“
“Has dinner there 3-1-2024 . Food was great & plentiful . We took home 2 to-go containers . We agreed quickly to return to this location . After the fiasco at the location area of 183 & Industrial we said never again visit Dickies . But we were close by & I remembered several years ago my best friend & I stopped at this location & it was great . I remembered my best friend's cousin was a manager there . Great friendly service , great food & like I said we will go back .“
“✨All You Can Eat KBBQ✨✨The food was pretty good and the service was very attentive!?We came for dinner and it was $30 each for all you can eat Korean BBQ. I have had higher quality KBBQ for this price, so I’m not sure I would come back.?The meal came with Banchan and all of the dishes were very good.Parking: Great parking lot“
“Burning Rice is a great option for lunch or dinner. They offer a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every pallette. I generally stick to rice and chicken dishes, but have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered here. Service is quick, servers are quite friendly, and the dining room is always lively and clean.Vegetarian options: Burning Rice offers lots of options that don't have meats.Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room is easily accessed and navigable for those in wheelchairs.“
