“We are here on vacation. We wanted to check out the food. The 1st thing upon entering we were greeted by the friendly staff. They let my grandson taste a few things to see what he liked. The staff were Amazing & food was delicious.“

“Dare I say that this spot rivals LSA Burger in terms of taste, and LSA has some of the best burgers I've ever had.

I ordered 2 sliders for $14, the Main Street and the Rail Sliders. Maria, the chef, cooked the beef to absolute perfection, medium rare, amazingly juicy patties, perfectly complimented with each ingredient. The Main Street used a slight bit of mustard with fried onion strings (basically small strings of onion rings), with cheddar, to create an almost sweet, rich slider. The Rail used cooked onion strings instead, with barbecue sauce and gouda cheese. This made for a much richer, deeply savory slider, one you'll definitely want to eat slowly.

I can't stress enough how well every component was cooked as well as how the all go together to create flavors that are so elegant. I'll definitely be returning. I will say that they are so decadent that you'll probably wish that the slider was a full sized burger instead. Hopefully one day!

“I'm going to tell y'all about my favorite bbq joint, Back Forty Smokehouse, on Main, off Davis, in North Richland Hills. I've been going there a long time and most often, I call in an order to go, but I have also dined in. It's a very nice place and the staff is excellent. I almost always buy the manager's bbq special, their smallest family pack. For $45, you get your choice of meat (1 lb. of sliced, chopped, pork, or many more choices), 3 sides (1 pint each, beans, coleslaw, potato salad, okra, mac n cheese, fries, etc.), 5 Texas toast, pickles, onions, and choice of sauces. The sliced can be moist, lean, or mixed, they have some spicy bbq sauce available, the potato salad isn't sweet, the beans can be sweet baked beans or pintos with bacon, the coleslaw is rough cut and not sweet. These are all good attributes in my eyes. Maybe y'all will think I just don't know better but I'd put their stuff against anyone else's. The sliced is excellent, tender, smoked well, lean if you want it, more fatty if that's your deal. Went there today and got the $45 deal and once again, got enough for my wife and I to easily eat twice. You can fix 5 plates like the one in the photo. That's a regular sized dinner plate, with pintos, coleslaw, potato salad, onions, pickles and sliced brisket. I like a little sauce on mine“

“We visited for Lunch today. We ordered the brisket sandwiches with fries. The portion size was huge, brisket was moist, fries were hot and crispy. We would definitely eat here again“

“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

“My oldest daughter ordered our July 4th meal for our family. A little pricey, however same as any other BBQ place priced about the same! Our meal was preordered and ready when I arrived to pick it up. Once I got to my daughters she noticed that the brisket portion was less than what it should've been, we were missing one macncheese, no butter for the rolls and there was zero BBQ sauce! I called the restaurant and Sutton, the manager, was very kind, apologetic and offered to do what he needed to do to make it right. He explained that the macncheese portion was correct it was combined into one container and explained if I would drive back with a picture of what I did pick up, he would have brisket ready for me to make the order correct. I said yes because our family has to have BBQ sauce! When I got there he had two containers of brisket, another dozen of rolls and a bag full of butters for us! Thank you Sutton! You're the best!“
