“I love this place - the dance floor is the biggest I have ever seen (I've danced in different locations all the way around Houston/ Spring/ Huntsville) and it is perfectly round which is unique. The workshops held here are incredibly thought out and help the other dancers acclimate to the space. Biggest downfall is during the Summer months - the AC should be turned on because I marinate. Also - the crowd gets larger as the night gets later which is common but it makes it hard to move along the dance floor without traffic. The leads that come out are very strong - if I lived locally this would be my go to. 🥰“

“I visited this restaurant twice with family during my recent visit to Dallas. Ambiance was great and staff very welcoming and attentive. Appeared as if we were being treated as personal guests. Standard of food and hygiene was beyond any doubt remarkable. What really impressed me was that washrooms were sparkling clean with all amenities. “For me to be a judge in hundreds of bbq competitions around the country since 2015, I was incredibly shocked that I hadn’t heard of this place until I saw it on an episode of Diners, Drive In’s and Dives! Had to try it out when I came back to Dallas….and boy let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!! The sausage was superior to any sausage I’ve tried, full of flavor with an excellent texture. Although my brisket was a *little* dry (most likely because I got there later in the day…) I would be willing to bet money it would be 100% the first couple of hours of opening. That OG sauce is pretty good but the Sweet Jake was top tier!! I DONT HAVE ROOM TO TALK ABOUT THE AMAZING AND DELICIOUS SELECTION OF SIDES BUT HOLYYYYY HECKKKK! I had to get a small little cup of each and not a single one disappointed me 🤣🤣🤣 Most bbq places will either have boring bland “meh” sides and fantastic meats OR good sides but mediocre meats….let’s just say you get the best of both worlds here. The best part about this place was the owner being SO full of life greeting everyone, checking on all his guests, picking up plates, manning the bar, opening doors, saying bye and thank you as we left…and that is what makes this place special. The food was fresh and delicious, the delivery was on time and not a thing was missing from my large order. “I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“Dare I say that this spot rivals LSA Burger in terms of taste, and LSA has some of the best burgers I've ever had.

I ordered 2 sliders for $14, the Main Street and the Rail Sliders. Maria, the chef, cooked the beef to absolute perfection, medium rare, amazingly juicy patties, perfectly complimented with each ingredient. The Main Street used a slight bit of mustard with fried onion strings (basically small strings of onion rings), with cheddar, to create an almost sweet, rich slider. The Rail used cooked onion strings instead, with barbecue sauce and gouda cheese. This made for a much richer, deeply savory slider, one you'll definitely want to eat slowly.

I can't stress enough how well every component was cooked as well as how the all go together to create flavors that are so elegant. I'll definitely be returning. I will say that they are so decadent that you'll probably wish that the slider was a full sized burger instead. Hopefully one day!

“You know, sometimes we overlook the basics and get so oriented toward what’s great in Bishop Arts and forget about the places outside downtown that keep this city rolling. My riding partner and I stopped in for breakfast here because we forgot cash for Fuel City. I asked if they take Apple Pay and if we can bring our bikes in. Affirmative on both, sweet. They love football and the cowboys here. It shows. The spot has nothing but stories to tell. It’s welcoming and the breakfast tacos, omelette and biscuits and gravy were fantastic. The grill spits fire. This place is worth a stop and it’s definitely a place to get your food fix. Happy to add to my breakfast rotation“
