“This BBQ joint is something truly magical. It is stuck in the middle of everywhere and it hits hard. We had the brisket, Iraqi sausage and lamb ribs.for our sides we had the mac and cheese and corn. The meat was so tender and delicious that it makes you crave more and more. This is a dangerous place for sure. The lamb ribs fall off the bone and the sausage was nice and juicy. The Mac and cheese is next level on savory goodness and the corn hits the spot. The pit master is super nice and attentive. You can tell that love is ozing from this place and from the food. I totally recommend it.“

“First time visitor but boy what an impression Spring Creek Barbecue made on me. You get a choice of how you want your brisket cut and I chose lean, without the fat and was so tender. I also chose the peppered sausage because I like it spicy. It was all absolutely fantastic!! A little on the pricey side as the bill for myself was $27 but I am comparing to my smaller hometow where it is $18 for a comparable meal. Probably can't bring the family unless they get one meat and no sides and water. Great food but just have really splurge to enjoy.“

“Welcome home. If I could title my review, that would be it. From the moment I stepped through the door, the (cute!) young man behind the counter made me feel like he had been waiting for me all day. I have anxiety, but it melted away with his charm. The mac and cheese wasn’t ready when I got there, so I was given two choices: they’d replace it with any side, or I could wait and they would make it fresh. Who doesn’t like fresh food? I was entertained while I waited, and the time flew by. Food was hot and fresh. Service was above and beyond. It was my first time in Grand Prairie, but I hope to be back ASAP — only partially for the eye candy!“

“For me to be a judge in hundreds of bbq competitions around the country since 2015, I was incredibly shocked that I hadn’t heard of this place until I saw it on an episode of Diners, Drive In’s and Dives! Had to try it out when I came back to Dallas….and boy let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!! The sausage was superior to any sausage I’ve tried, full of flavor with an excellent texture. Although my brisket was a *little* dry (most likely because I got there later in the day…) I would be willing to bet money it would be 100% the first couple of hours of opening. That OG sauce is pretty good but the Sweet Jake was top tier!! I DONT HAVE ROOM TO TALK ABOUT THE AMAZING AND DELICIOUS SELECTION OF SIDES BUT HOLYYYYY HECKKKK! I had to get a small little cup of each and not a single one disappointed me 🤣🤣🤣 Most bbq places will either have boring bland “meh” sides and fantastic meats OR good sides but mediocre meats….let’s just say you get the best of both worlds here. The best part about this place was the owner being SO full of life greeting everyone, checking on all his guests, picking up plates, manning the bar, opening doors, saying bye and thank you as we left…and that is what makes this place special. The customer service makes the incredible food 10x better.“

“I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“Dare I say that this spot rivals LSA Burger in terms of taste, and LSA has some of the best burgers I've ever had.

I ordered 2 sliders for $14, the Main Street and the Rail Sliders. Maria, the chef, cooked the beef to absolute perfection, medium rare, amazingly juicy patties, perfectly complimented with each ingredient. The Main Street used a slight bit of mustard with fried onion strings (basically small strings of onion rings), with cheddar, to create an almost sweet, rich slider. The Rail used cooked onion strings instead, with barbecue sauce and gouda cheese. This made for a much richer, deeply savory slider, one you'll definitely want to eat slowly.

I can't stress enough how well every component was cooked as well as how the all go together to create flavors that are so elegant. I'll definitely be returning. I will say that they are so decadent that you'll probably wish that the slider was a full sized burger instead. Hopefully one day!

That man has impeccable customer service, the food was good but his customer service was top tier! Greeted me, i let him know it was my first time and he walked me through it all, i ordered and he assured me i would be returning! Food was amazing and i was able to watch the game while i ate! Was checked on to make sure everything was great! My experience was rare these days! You don’t find restaurants that have good food and great customer service! Barrel & Bones felt like entering a Fire-type Gym where the pitmaster had clearly invested heavily into BBQ Attack stats. The staff brought strong Support Trainer energy throughout the battle, staying attentive and making sure the experience never felt neglected.

The Smoked Prime Brisket Burger came out looking like it knew Body Slam and immediately proved it. Between the soft brisket, melted American cheese, fresh toppings, and perfectly toasted brioche bun, every bite landed super-effective damage. The sandwich barely held together, but honestly, if your BBQ burger isn’t threatening your shirt with a cleanup, are you even fighting the right Gym Leader?

The baked beans delivered powerful smoky flavor, the queso was loaded with cheesy Special Attack, and the Sweet & Spicy sauce added a respectable Fire-type kick for Trainers wanting extra damage output. The only move that missed its target was the Dr Pepper, which felt a little too watered down. Even so, Barrel & Bones is the kind of place that leaves you planning your rematch before you’ve fully left the battlefield. I easily earned its badge!“
