“I visited this restaurant twice with family during my recent visit to Dallas. Ambiance was great and staff very welcoming and attentive. Appeared as if we were being treated as personal guests. Standard of food and hygiene was beyond any doubt remarkable. What really impressed me was that washrooms were sparkling clean with all amenities. Overall an excellent experience and my appreciation to management and owners for doing a very fine job. Wish you all the success!“

“Good but a little expensive. I do wish they gave more potato salad in your plate and more pickled radish. It's a small portion compared to the meat, which I guess is good if you like a lot of meat. 👍 I like the grilled chicken and bulgogi. I frequently go here since I work nearby. It's a little expensive at $15-$20 for one meal for just yourself. I can't imagine taking my whole family here to eat but it's good. It's my treat lunch when I want to splurge. 😋“

“First off, we were the first customers of the day. Literally waited 25 mins until they opened (we live 3hrs away) We were greeted by two kind gentlemen. I wanted to order 3 meats to try since it was our first time and they accommodated my request as they don’t have a 3 meat plate. The food and service are TOP tier. “This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

“Me and my family have been to multiple Korean bbqs but this one has truly been outstanding. The food, the service, all so good! Truly sets your expectations high. Our server Kevin was very impressive, he was serving multiple tables at a time but yet was very attentive to every single one of them! He truly is amazing at his job! “First time here and it was good! We had family visit from out of state and tried this on a whim. We tried a little bit of everything. Their food is served as ready which was nice. We could eat a little bit of everything without getting stuffed. We definitely took advantage of that. We loved the tostados and corn fritters. The butchers cut was my favorite while the others were torn between the ribs and pork belly. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. They were happy to turn on the FIFA game for us. It was casual and had a nice outdoor sitting area as well.“

“This is a old-school BBQ joint on Leonard Street in downtown. They have a fair sized indoor seating and some outside tables as well. You can do take-away as well. Opening hours are 11am to 3pm (lunch only), closed on Sundays. Had a very good lunch here recently. The chopped beef sandwich was delicious, sides of okra, potato casserole and beans were great. Ended up taking home a large order of brisket, sausage and more sides for a larger group of friends for the evening. Everyone loved the meal. Two Sammy's meals in one day and was left wanting more. Would gladly return based on this experience.“

“Great hole in the wall Mexican bbq place. I had some Al pastor tacos and brisket sandwich. The tacos had onions and cilantro and I got the green medium hot salsa (which was a good medium spice level). The brisket sandwich was good sized and came with pickles and onions and warmed bbq sauce.“

“I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“This BBQ joint is something truly magical. It is stuck in the middle of everywhere and it hits hard. We had the brisket, Iraqi sausage and lamb ribs.for our sides we had the mac and cheese and corn. The meat was so tender and delicious that it makes you crave more and more. This is a dangerous place for sure. The lamb ribs fall off the bone and the sausage was nice and juicy. The Mac and cheese is next level on savory goodness and the corn hits the spot. The pit master is super nice and attentive. You can tell that love is ozing from this place and from the food. I totally recommend it.“

“My oldest daughter ordered our July 4th meal for our family. A little pricey, however same as any other BBQ place priced about the same! Our meal was preordered and ready when I arrived to pick it up. Once I got to my daughters she noticed that the brisket portion was less than what it should've been, we were missing one macncheese, no butter for the rolls and there was zero BBQ sauce! I called the restaurant and Sutton, the manager, was very kind, apologetic and offered to do what he needed to do to make it right. He explained that the macncheese portion was correct it was combined into one container and explained if I would drive back with a picture of what I did pick up, he would have brisket ready for me to make the order correct. I said yes because our family has to have BBQ sauce! When I got there he had two containers of brisket, another dozen of rolls and a bag full of butters for us! Thank you Sutton! You're the best!“

That man has impeccable customer service, the food was good but his customer service was top tier! Greeted me, i let him know it was my first time and he walked me through it all, i ordered and he assured me i would be returning! Food was amazing and i was able to watch the game while i ate! Was checked on to make sure everything was great! My experience was rare these days! You don’t find restaurants that have good food and great customer service!
