Wow, got here around 7 pm on solar eclipse night (group of 10) , greeted with a long line - moves quick ~ 15 minsResearch the menu - get a whole bunch of stuff, admire the beautiful smokers in the restaurant and take in the tasty BBQ fragranceGet a large table at this busy hour and devour our mealLoved it and we will back for more !!
We tried out 4 different BBQ joints in our time in Texas, and Hard Eight was our favorite. The atmosphere is great, super bustling, line out the door and ordering your meat right in front of the smoking pit. Self serve for sides and desserts. We tried several different meats, the brisket was by far the best brisket I’ve ever had. Just fall apart delicious, smokey, flavorful bark. My husbands favorite was the pulled pork.
